Spent one unforgettable week with Blackbeard Cruises. We boarded the ¨Pirates Lady¨ on April 14th at Nassau harbour and sailed around the Exuma Cays for one week of amazing scuba diving. Transport from and to Nassau International Airport was pre-arranged thru Blackbeard Cruises and pick-ups were on time. There is not enough room aboard for everybody’s suitcases, so on the... More

Just returned from a March 10-16, 2012 spring break trip. Arrived the night before & stayed at the Harbour Club- not a luxury room, but beds were comfortable, clean sheets and a hot shower in the morning; super convenient to grocery store & restaurants; docking for Blackbeard's is right behind. Accommodations on the boat were clean and comfortable. Everything is... More

I sailed on the Morning Star with Capt Red at the wheel. It is exactly what everyone says, camping at sea. I went on the trip expecting just that. I was apprehensive about going on a Diving trip alone, but I have to say I had a wonderful time, and met some really nice people, some of which I'll definitely... More

Did my first and last liveaboard. The diving was not very good and we would even dive the same site twice. The crew acted as if we were a nuisance to them and didn't seem to respect each other. The cook was constantly complaining about the "cook in training", Courtney who was the best member on board. The food was... More

Sailed on Blackbeard's Morning Star with Captain Grayson, Red the 1st Mate, Allison the cook, Andrew and Emma the Dive Masters on this trip. There were 17 of us from Rochester, New York. We were able to do 20 dives that week. We were diving between 3 to 5 dives a day in the 84 degree waters of the Exumas'... More

We had an amazing time on the Blackbeard's Pirate's Lady. First of all, yes it's kind of like camping at sea (but with air conditioning). The food was great and the diving was amazing considering we went out of Nassau directly after Hurricane Irene. We did 21 dives in 5 days and had an incredible shark dive. The crew was... More

Here's the nitty gritty... The boats don't raise the sails. Its easier and faster for them to use the engines. They may raise the sails but you'll get to the next dive site much later. Furthermore, they have to take down the shade canvas for the boat, and you're gonna want shade. The only storage of personal items was your... More

First of all this is not a day attraction, this is a live aboard scuba diving cruise. Their main office is out of Florida but the ships sail out of either Freeport or Naussau in The Bahamas. Their live aboards are all-inclusive with diving, food, and obviously accommodations on the boat. If your looking for some great diving, having a... More

This was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I met incredible people from all over the world. The food was excellent. The diving was wonderful. The crew was fun and extremely efficient. Living quarters were small but generally comfortable. Lots and lots of diving. More
