Came in the middle of the day looking for great refreshment, found this gem in the middle of plaza on military trail and atlantic. Ordered strawberry shake and Jamaica coconut patties. They were delicious. Walked it off to the back yard, saw some birds and knick knacks before heading to work. Nice place lots to see.

Yes there are great strawberries to pick in season and tomatoes, a terrific store filled wit jams, preservers and jellies and all sorts of treats (including a excellent selection of hot sauces), little toys for grandkids and an old fashioned ice cream parlor that make spectacular floats, milk shakes and cones, but the birds seal the deal. You'd never know... More

Do go to the Girls! Walk around and enjoy the beautiful birds. Spend some $$$ and enjoy yourself. I bought a no sugar cherry pie at their bakery and it was just awful. The filling tasted more of glue than cherries. The crust was shameful. Tasted like crumbled cardboard. I'm sure their regular baked goods are a lot better, otherwise... More

I'm a bird LOVER, so this place feels like home to me. I pick strawberries and tomatoes when they're in season, but I mostly go for the birds and the jam. They also have wonderful ice cream :-) Don't forget to visit Gramma's Bakery and The Boy's on your way out!!

Being from PA may be the problem here. Things in PA are spread out and the picking is awesome when they are in prime. When we went yesterday, the picking was so slim that it was hard to find a very small bucket full. There were signs and arrows pointing to pick fresh veggies but all I found were cherry... More

You think you are walking into an old fashioned soda shop but if you keep walking straight to the back you will see the most gorgeous birds. THese birds have been rescued and are taken such good care of by the staff. I go here several times a month just to do this. Then in April I'll go and pick... More

I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to buy a kid a small gift that no one else has. Or, if you visit the u-pick, be sure to take any kids or grandkids for a great hands-on time together. Or, if you want to share exotic birds with family, they are a free part of this lovely afternoon... More

If you don't know it's there you miss a lovely experience. You enter through a store which is loaded with merchandise. Many of which takes you down memory lane. Great selection of honeys. At the back of the store you walk into cages of birds, which have been rescued. Loads of parrots, and also there are European swans, tortoises, donkeys... More

When you enter this store it is like stepping down memory lane. It is an old time ice cream parlor/candy store. The ice cream is the best ... thick, creamy and full of flavor. Great in a cone or cup with compliment toppings. The candy is from the 50's and 60's in original designed packages/boxes. But, that's not all. They... More
