Veteran's park is a great place for any age person. Right on the water, benches, lots of grass, playground, fountain... just go. More

Quaint little park is off East Atlantic Ave (North Side) just before the intracoastal waterway. Watch the boats go by or have a meal in one of the places near by. Right on the intercoastal waterway, the park is lush and full of life, especially every other weekend when the "Art In The Park" events from the local artists group is presenting. Yacht tours of the luxe properties up and down the waterway also leave from here, I recommend the Sunday brunch cruise - the food is nothing to write home... More
