Have visited this place numerous times. Always take visitors to see the skydivers, and it is a definite hit with our guests. A nice restaurant on site. very close to landing parachutists. Places to sit outdoors either on a lower or upper deck. Can watch people packing their 'chutes or preparing their moves for choreographed jumps. Bring a visor hat... More

I have never been sky diving before, but decided to celebrate my 50th birthday with a tandem sky dive. This was definitely the place to do it. Deland is not that far from Orlando and the thrills of skydiving far exceed anything you could find in a theme park. The place is well appointed, a nice shop/reception, restaurant, outdoor seating... I love the outside dinning area. As a non-diver I have a fabulous time watching the sky divers come into their landing. Eating lunch on the upper deck with some wine on a beautiful day is a great way to spend time with friends. The staff at the facility is always friendly and helpful.

We accompanied a friend who wanted to make a skydive on his 75th birthday. Although I had many military parachute jumps this was my first free fall (tandem). The staff is very safety oriented and competent; the aircraft well maintained. The jump from 13,500 feet was great, with a minute of free fall. My wife was so delighted with it... More

Myself and a friend came over from the UK to visit DeLand and some of the skydiving equipment manufacturers in the area. From our first day at the airfield everyone was very warm and welcoming. The landing area is big, the planes are good and the DZ is quick at getting the plane up. There is an airconditioned packing room... More

I am not a skydiver but what fun we have going there to watch the divers some in. You can enjoy a sunny afternoon.

it is a great place to go and watch the jumpers - planes, etc. and have a great hamburg. It is a wonderful example of doing something that is interesting - no jumping for me though.

I was never really interested in jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, but I went to an event at SKY DIVE DELAND and could not stop imagining myself, falling softly through the skye and knowing I would land safely. Just thinking of the views, made me excited. Can't wait to go again, even if it's just to watch.
