Had a ball at the Renaisance Fair a few years ago

Great time. We dressed up for the occasion using costumes we wore in a play. What a great time! If you haven't been to the Renaissance Fair.. Go!

Great County park. Pavilion areas for picnics. Paddle boats for rent on the lake. They have a water ski area which uses an overhead wire system. This coming weekend they will hold a large renascence fair that comes every February. Great place for a family get together.

My husband and I spent a week in the Keys and stopped at this spot for 2 nights to decompress before heading home to Central FL. We had site 9, which is set back off the beaten path, waterfront and private. The tent setup is awesome and the giant grill was very cool too! They also provide a garbage can... More

Have been to this park many times and have always enjoyed it. Plenty of tables, trees, paths, ski run, food and drinks. Renaissance festival is top notch

Camped on Halloween with 9 other families and their children. Daylight hours was fun! The kids ran and played to their hearts content. Evening hours were not as fun. The lights in the park are still not functioning. They were out in July when we camped there also. Disappointing, it should not take this long to correct the light problem.... More

They have a great running path and bike path. I've used both. The park is always clean. I go on the weekends to avoid the parking fee.

Quiet Waters Park seems to have it all. There is a seasonal water park, campsite with everything from teepees to pre-hung large tents with solid floors to rent, lots of lakes, Ski-Rixen, a water skiing system complete with ramps to jump if your skill level is appropriate, bicycle trails to ride through the park flora, you can even rent bicycles,... This is a busy park, yet its easy access and parking. There is plenty to do, you can camp, picnic, play ball, walk, hike, bike, water sports. Or simply watch nature, with all the people there is still wildlife. Birds are everywhere and looking for a handout.

I had some wonderful experiences at Quiet Waters Park where I got to see bald eagles soaring overhead, redhead ducks, warblers, wading birds and a very scenic bicycle and hiking trail. It the eagles are nesting, they offer a special hike lead by a naturalist on Saturday mornings where you can view the bald eagle nest if it is active... More

just a lovely and tranquil place to spend the day in enjoying nature. I was there with my Grandchildren and we rented bikes. The paths were well kept and there were great places to stop along the way.
