This is a nice park, a little run down. They are working to fix it up now. Fishing isn't what it used to be here. Hurricane placed a million trees in the waters, you can only be a professional snagger. Camping area could use more cover. Fun for the kids and big enough to long for walks, bike paths (off... More

We found this place via the lonely planet guide. It's not very big, but you can either do a morning session or afternoon session for 5 dollars. We thought it was great value given the price of everything else around. There were 3 lifeguards on duty and they were quick to stop older children playing 'incorrectly'. Large shady umbrellas were... More

We went kayaking there since it is near our house. We thought it would be a nice place to go for a couple of hours. As a place for kayaking, there is not much to see although we did have fun. The problem I see is that the staff acts like they can't wait for you to go away. First,... More

The park is the site of the Florida Renaissance Festival which is held there in February and March each year. Beyond that there are over 400 acres with lots of bike trails, you can rent camp sites (and tents!), tons of picnic tables and free-standing barbecues in the shade and in the sun. You can rent boats to enjoy the... More

Wonderful way to spend the day. There is the water park, bike trails and best of all for the older kids the wake board park. My sons spend hours there and really enjoy it. They have rental equipment, snack bar and areas to picnic.

I came here with a large group of people for barbecuing and I had a good time. Lots of places for mountain bike riding and lots of places to park your car to barbecue or just walk. I saw a place towards the entrance where you can water ski. A rope pulls you. It's really cool. Very big too.

Mountain biking is always great at Quiet Waters Park because it's not a far drive from home (and only a few minutes from Highway 95) and trails there are fun and well-maintained. There is even a bike shop by the parking lot for emergency repairs etc and the employee was so friendly that he gave us some very useful recommendations... More

We went to the park for the Renaissance Faire and had a great time. Pretty park. But I would go during the week when entry if free instead of weekends when you pay per person in the car if you are trying to just enjoy what the park has to offer and not there for a special event.
