I loved walking around, but there where a few empty shops. Either closed down, or different hours. Restaurants where the only thing open and we had to drive all over the place for tattoo places.

After dinner we decided to stroll around because the area was so pretty. However when we're apart only business is open we're restaurant. Disappointed that there was nothing more to do in this area.

New and up in coming art galleries, restaurants & boutique shopping area, Daytona Beach st. This area has gone thru many changes in the past few years, struggling along with many other American small towns. There has been many shops and restaurants gone out of business that were not able to struggle thru, However in the past 6 months or... More

In my mind, I would not consider the riverfront shops a separate attraction. This is part of Beach Street and if you are visiting beach street, you will go in and out of the shops. There are a lot of closed shops and empty ones and the area looks like it could use a face lift. There is a taco... More

Riverfront Marketplace is actually the Beach Street area. Nice restaurants, shops, and antique store. Great place to walk. Nice park area across the street. Best coffee in the world at Sweet Marlay's. They also have good sweets and pastries. Nice park on the other side of the street. There are also rocking chairs in front of some of the businesses.

We did a lot of window shopping...looking for keepsakes. Found a few things that were too tourist looking.
