Daytona is a nice place to visit. We actually saw a man catch a shark there this year! It was app. 4 ft long!

The beach had plenty of cars and SUVs parked side by side with some people having a barbeque lunch and drinks. It was a warm festive spring atmosphere and the sand was hard enough to drive along for stretches. The area we parked on was close to the lifeguard and we had a good game of frisbee throwing after a... More

The beach is very good. They do allow driving on the beach. There was a change where you're only allowed to re-enter the beach once each day without having to pay another entry charge. Be careful to understand the driving rules as many people were not following the direction of travel properly.

Can drive on the beach with your automobile. Great white sand, very clean, well maintained, there were ample lifeguards.

One of the most fun things to do when visiting Daytona is to park and ride the beach. Close to everything. Don't unpack your car. Fun.

Great beach, you can park right on the beach. Sand is graded every day, it has that perfect white sand. Not overly crowded, and plenty of food trucks and souvenirs to be found. Lifeguards on duty every day.

This beach has the softest sand I've ever walked in. The water was nice and warm. Much warmer than the West coast! The beach wasn't busy or crowded.

The sand is perfectly white and flat. NO seaweed on the beach!! Nothing cooler than driving on the beach and picking the perfect spot for the day. I love Daytona beach!
