This was a wonderful place. The tour guide was a hoot! He explained the chocolate making process while you could watch it happen behind the windows. Free samples!! They make a very high quality chocolate for the discerning customer at a very fair price. The owner is a Christian, and it shows. We bought some to take with us, so... More

A must go if your in Daytona, our tour guide Nick was fantastic and witty..Three of the young ladies in our group were all head over heals about him...lol Informative, fun and delicious. . What more can you ask for in a free tour with the opportunity to sample.. We all walked out with more chocolate than a body should... More

This very fine chocolate factory is located on historic Beach Street in Daytona Beach. The ambiance is excellent, the selection very complete, and the chocolates-- FANTASTIC!! The prices aren't cheap -- but there is a lot of value because of the superb quality, great service, and really great setting. I travelled to Vienna, Austria once to sample the best chocolate... We love their chocolate covered potatoe chips, turtles (several varieties of nuts) and sea salt milk chocolate caramels- all made right there in their production room. Owner and staff are always helpful. If you go on a warm Florida day take a cooler to get what you don't eat home

To be honest, I had the honor of working for Angel and Phelps back in 1979 and 80 when it was owned by Ed Reisinger before he retired, and sold the shop to a local doctor because the doctor's wife "always wanted to own her own chocolate shop". 99.97% of the chocolates were hand dipped by chocolatiers originally from Pennsylvania... We love Angell and Phelps! We always get the chocolate covered raisins and the cookies and cream fudge. Great quality and very reasonably priced.

Young man giving the tour should explore a career in stand up comedy. He is dry-witted with perfect timing! How much can you really say in looking through three large picture windows showing a group of brown-shirted men mix chocolate, fiddle with potato chips and count out "honey bees?" But the history of the shop, the process and the products... More

I'm giving this a 4 even though I was a bit disappointed at the beginning of the tour that I was not able to see into the window while the tour guide was telling us what was going on. With the big group that was in this tour she should have rotated people around the viewing window so everyone could... More

I loved the tour and the guy was both informative and funny, I tried the chocolate covered potato chip and found it to be very good. I had no intention of buying any chocolate but because the samples were so good I ended up buying a 1 lb box of dark chocolate for myself and the chocolate covered bacon and... More
