People watching at its finest!!

Plenty of scenery, fresh air, and food. Some of the best ice cream in the area. The pier attracts people from all over the US and the World!!

I was really looking forward to a ride on the Ferris Wheel, but when we were there in October, it was closed for repairs. The few other rides were empty, and the only people we saw on the sling shot ride were the employees.

Our kids and Grandkids came to Daytona with us last summer. We were staying right near the boardwalk. There are several restaurants and rides. There was a man making balloon characters. My Grandson was mesmerized watching him. The restaurants range from burger joints to Joes Crab Shack and the Fancy Hyde Park Steak House at the Hilton. In the summer... More

Although smaller than Atlantic city, it feels very similar with a more southern feel. Typical cheesy, but well maintained rides for the kids, tickets are expensive, food is greasy, but the smells will take you back to being a kid again.

The rides were all shut down Zzzzzzzzz, the stores sell all the same trinket items found at your grandmas estate sale, and its just overall a dirty looking area. Driving on the beach is odd. What ever happened to walking?

I loved that there was alot to do, and it was pretty at night with all the lights. I wish the ferris wheel was working.

This was an area about a block and a half in size of concessions and amusement rides including arcades. It is a fun place but just be careful. There are a lot of vagrants around the beach and boardwalk area. It didn't feel like a safe area to be in even though there were a ton of people out walking... More

Admittedly, this came after a week at Disney, but this area didn't offer much of an appeal. The oceanfront location is beautiful but you can find that without coming to the Pier area. A couple of decent restaurants and typical tourist shopping areas along with some carnival type rides are about the sum of the area. We enjoyed walking the... More

Nothing much different from any other board walk but well maintained and new looking, improvements visible.
