I am a local, and I love taking my family to the Boardwalk. The arcades are clean and have the latest video games. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. My kids say that it is their favorite thing to do in Daytona. more

Yes, the boardwalk is nothing compared to other "boardwalks" in the USA. It does only have one ride which is the skyline. My daughter and I wanted to walk to the end of the Pier. The only way to access the very end is through a restaurant and then a gift shop. We got to the gift shop and an... more

They call this a boardwalk? Where's the rides (last count 1 ride), where's the arcades (last count 2), where's the boardwalk shops (last count 3). Sorry but after spending most of my life in Ocean City, MD (with 2 1/4mile long boardwalk, 100's of places to eat, several good/clean amusement parks, and tons of shops) Daytona Beach is a joke.... more

I visit the Daytona area every year and I have never run out of things to do. That strip of beach runs from the Ponce Inlet right up through Ormond Beach. First there is the beach which looks and feels different every month that you visit. I was not impressed with the boardwalk at Daytona myself but then I didn't... more

Some of you are writing about nothing to do on Daytona Beach! That's the most absurd thing I've ever read. What's it take to make some people happy? They're not thrilled with the boardwalk or arcades & the sky ride over the pier was OK because they saw a dolphin! What about the ocean, the sun & sand? When I... more

Based on other reviews I went to the Boardwalk to check it out but did not go expecting a lot. I am glad I checked the reviews first! Basically you pay $7 for parking (or $5 to park on the beach). I guess we could have parked elsewhere and paid less but walked a ways. When you get there you... more

This boardwalk has a long history. It is in renewal but two arcades, the Mardis Gras fun Center and Joyland are supposed to be sticking around as a new hotel is built behind them. We come from Wisconsin every year and spend a lot of time in this area. Suprisingly good food (at least at night, never had breakfast) for... more

You don't want to come here. I stumbled upon the boardwalk without intending on coming to it. After walking on the beach near the Ocean Walk Village, I came upon a couple of beachside arcades and shop. They were rundown and nearly empty, but on the bright side, some of the games did look fun. As for the pier itself,... more

We stayed near this pier and didn't see the sky lift operating at all during the entire week we were there (09/05/08-09/11/08). Perhaps we missed it, but probably not. It's not a real "boardwalk" - there are some planks but mostly concrete. There's a gift shop halfway down the pier and you have to pay $1.50 to get to walk... more
