The pier is free and full of people fishing at the end. Joe's Crab Shack and a pizza place are located here. The amusement ride area appeared closed and the boardwalk had 2 places selling junk food, drinks and t-shirts etc...and an arcade. Beggers sitting by steps going to pier. Not missing anything if you skip this one.

I love visiting the deck, boardwalk and pier although I did not feel comfortable alone at night. There were several 'gangs' of people wandering around that seemed a bit shady and I did not want to leave my car unattended. While there with a group of people, during busier time of evening it was not too bad. I didn't go... More

It's like a ghost town. First time up at Daytona and wanted to see what it looked like. Well there were maybe 4 rides. They were all old and missing parts, I was afraid to get into any of them. We rode the go carts and mine had no brakes! Each ride is about 7$ per person... Whack! the view... More

Not sure if we went to the same place in September 2014 but it bore no resemblance to some of the reviews below. Apart from the whole Daytona area surrounding the place looking a bit shabby, this place had a definite air of yesterday about it. As we approached along the beach and boardwalk, we could see activity in what... More

love walking the board walk, the game room, souvenir shops, listening to the screaming on the roller coaster and sling shot and go-karts. Great to sit out at tables and watch people and listen to the ocean. Relaxing.

Great for everyone! Plenty of stuff to do alone or with family. Shop around though, some places are great but others like to gouge the tourists!!! We got to watch the Thundercats practice for the airshow that weekend, so that was cool!!

If you go to daytona you have to visit the boardwalk. There are rides shops and arcades. Great place for the whole family after dinner at one of the many restaurants.

Not much of a boardwalk, the rides didn't look safe to ride and was very expensive game room below was just as bad with awful prizes that looked like they were from the early 90's

We went to Daytona for the weekend and on paper the boardwalk looked pretty neat. We used to live near Myrtle Beach, so we figured the boardwalk there was great... The one in Daytona should be awesome, since its supposed to be the world's most famous beach. Yeah, that did not happen. Everything was empty, I guess because of the... More
