It had been a good 20 years since I last walked the boardwalk in Daytona. I sure am glad it was a work related trip that brought me back. Lots of the old things on the pier and amusements are no longer there. To the point it is very small, boring and even the shops are not interesting. Beautiful ocean... More

The boardwalk looks run down, I saw a bunch of 'homeless'?? folks, the whole place is run down. My husband did take the chance and rode the sling shot ride, lol, 25$ for a 60 second ride...but he lived through it. Makes me think Daytona Beach used to be THE place to go and now is just the place to... More

Run down! No one rode the Farris Wheel because they were beating on it the 3 days of my stay. Roller coaster didn't look safe.

We loved the boardwalk and took walks, had snacks and watched people fishing off the pier. It was quiet as there were not too many people. We did not go in the amusement area but it was fun to see, especially at night.

We went to the boardwalk looking for something fun to do.they had 3 rides in operation, ticket prices were not cheap. Arcade was ok, we played Skeeball mostly. The lady behind the counter at the prize place was very rude, wouldn't help us at all. So we gave our ticket to another family with a little kid. We sat outside thinking... More

Something to do, take pictures and people watch, the boardwalk offers parking for $10 per day or some business offer it for $5 per day....I didn't see any rides open, the boardwalk could be a major place in Daytona but it needs a lot of work, Little shops around, kids would be disappointed,

Went here with my wife and four young kids. The Boardwalk itself is not that large offers connection to a few attractions/shops: the pier, some rides/attractions and the Ocean Walk shops and of course the beach. In short: the pier is 'a pier' so not much to say about that. The rides are old, the ferris wheel was broken and... More
