We had a great time walking along the board walk right on the beach , the Ferris wheel was fun and the shoppes and restaurants was great, I bought a beautiful bathing suit wrap at the little surf shop, very reasonable priced.

We took our son and his best friend and they had a great time. Coming from the northern shores this is exactly what I was looking for. Theme parks are way too big and I never seem to enjoy myself because of all the walking then waiting on lines. There was plenty to do. Rides Street performers, reasonable shops to... More

It was far from where we stayed and was not worth the cab ride. Thought there would be something to eat but not any choices right on the boardwalk

The boardwalk and pier were nice, nothing super exciting but a nice view and some shops and food. Compared to California it's cleaner and safer feeling than Venice Beach but not as nice and interesting as Santa Monica Pier. There are a couple arcades, some fast food places to eat, and some shops to get beach and Florida merchandise. The... More

There is a new(ish) roller coaster among the other aging rides here. (New to Daytona Beach- but the ride has been re-located from elsewhere). This is very good step in the right direction, the entertainment section of Daytona is coming back slowly but surely. The roller coaster is zippy and fun, and not vomit-inducing for the younger ones. The staff... More

I enjoyed walking to the boardwalk with my boyfriend while on vacation. We stayed close enough to where we didn't have to drive. The boardwalk is nice with restaurants and shops along the ocean.

The addition and extension of the boardwalk is nice and the area is getting cleaned up with some nicer shops. A few of the older places are still there to add character. Overall an "OK" place. Not worth a long drive as there are so many nicer beaches and areas to visit in Florida.

Visit 12-26-13 thru 1-3-14. The beach is beautiful, however the boardwalk is just average. The rides did not interest us, but were going nonstop. Typical boardwalk beach shops. Fun to look at all the dust collectors. Interesting how the beach shops can be going out of business for years. If you like to people watch take your own chair. Hardly... More

Expensive for what it was. Good distraction for the kids in a pinch but wouldn't go out of my way to visit
