It reminded me of an old-fashioned carnival. It was off-season and a bit chilly, so it was mostly deserted. There are a few old rides. The fireworks were a welcome diversion. It is nice for walking along the beach, but that is about all I can recommend.

It was neat to see the famous boardwalk. The amusement area was cute. Had a game center with video games and whatnot. Great for kids. But we didn't have kids, so not much for us to do.

Standard fare for arcade games. Skeeball, games of chance, shoot-em-up games, pinball. Tickets given to exchage for prizes. A small restaurant for ice cream , sandwiches, and adult beverages(relatively n=inexpensive, too)

The Band Shell is decorated for Christmas, but during the summer there are lots of live acts for adults and the family. Amusement rides and fair games are all located here. Food, Drinks and Lots of fun, but be sure to bring your wallets as it is a tad bit pricey. if you don't have much money there are plenty... More

We had a blast playing skee ball and various video games inside the arcade. The go karts were a huge hit as well, but nobody was brave enough to go on the sling shot ride.

My wife and I prefer more quiet spots, but if you want to people watch, or chill on the beach, this is not a bad place to go.

The pier is free and full of people fishing at the end. Joe's Crab Shack and a pizza place are located here. The amusement ride area appeared closed and the boardwalk had 2 places selling junk food, drinks and t-shirts etc...and an arcade. Beggers sitting by steps going to pier. Not missing anything if you skip this one.

I love visiting the deck, boardwalk and pier although I did not feel comfortable alone at night. There were several 'gangs' of people wandering around that seemed a bit shady and I did not want to leave my car unattended. While there with a group of people, during busier time of evening it was not too bad. I didn't go... More
