This was a great trip to take with our teenagers. They really enjoyed climbing the 203 steps to the top. There is a little park located right outside the gates of the lighthouse so we had a picinic before we took the climb. After the climb we went and checked out all the out buildings where the lighthouse keepers lived.... more

This is what I look for in a vacation attraction. Walk the well kept grounds at your leisure and climb to the top via the many stairs if you wish. Pleasant staff and a peaceful atmosphere make this spot a yearly visit for me. more

I visit the place when I go to Daytona. Well kept historic landmark, very clean and reasonably priced. Take your time climbing to the top, view is well worth the climb. Close to some good restaurants. I will go back more

We had time on our hands and had the ponce inlet brochure about the lighthouse and it looked beautiful so we drove out there. I was expecting it to be on the waters edge or within site of the water but it's inland. We got out and looked around a bit and left Dissapointed!! Waste of time! more

Interesting, Informative, Economical stop on our Daytona Beach vacation! For the $$$ you can't beat the $5 per adult charge...they have 10% off admission coupon at many hotels too. We spent $18 for two adults and two teenage sons. We stayed for 2 to 3 hours and enjoyed this wonderfully restored lighthouse. Our teenage sons really liked the lens display.... more

There's nothing really I can add. Yes it worth the climb to be at the top of the largest lighthouse in Fl. We all had never been in a lighthouse and enjoyed seeing it, even the kids. The people where very nice and helpful and had more things to see than we had time for. Worth the money and interesting. more

Aside from visiting the beach, this was one thing my friends and I agreed we wanted to see. We weren't disappointed. The Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse provided a remarkable 360 degree view of Daytona Beach at only $5.00 admission. The stairs up to the top of the lighthouse gave us quite a workout, but this was definitely a highlight... more

Our visit to the lighthouse was wonderful! The grounds are beautiful and it was interesting to be able to go inside the original homes of the lighthouse keepers and their assistants. There are 204 steps to climb with a resting point every 22 steps. Once you make it to the top the view is spectacular! It was a lot of... more

The Lighthouse is a must see! Beautiful grounds and interesting exhibits. Only climb the spiral staircase to top of lighthouse if you are not afraid of heights!! Great view at the top! more
