Ponce de Leon lighthouse self guided tour was alot of fun. Cheap admission and quaint novelties in the gift shop. Each building shared historical insight and a closer look at the life and contribution of keepers. The view from the top of the lighthouse was breath taking. A great family outing, stroll through history and financial contribution to preservation.

Wonderful views from the top, if you can climb the 207 steps! Don't plan on carrying your 2-year-old up these steps, you'll never make it. Good museum, as well.

First of all, I enjoyed the drive to the lighthouse. Drove along the ocean front viewing the homes along the way. This is a self guided tour where you can take your time and enjoy what the grounds has to offer. The admission is extremely reasonable, only $5. There is a short film to view prior to exploring the buildings... More

A fair amount to see, great view from the top of the lighthouse ! Nice little shop too, and a few places close by to get food.

Interesting look back to when lighthouses were navigational aids. Lots of buildings to view and the lighthouse has been refurbished.

Nice way to spend an hour or so. The different museum buildings were interesting. The lighthouse was amazing.

The lighthouse is astonishingly beautiful. Tours of the grounds, light keepers houses, and lens museum are really neat. There are 2 actual Cuban refugee rafts on display, a bit sobering to think people were desperate enough to attempt a 90 mile ocean crossing on those flimsy things. Gift shop is nice. There's a nature walk around the grounds which is... More

wonderful and fascinating monument. Gift shop/museum very informative. The climb up the lighthouse was tiring - I made it but not sure I would (or could) do it again. Once on top the view was worth it!

Very nice facility, quite interesting presentation of the lighthouse itself as well as the associated historical keepers houses, etc. An added bonus is the display of various lighthouse Fresnel lenses of assorted sizes that I believe is unique to this museum. There are a LOT of stairs to climb to ascend the lighthouse itself, but certainly doable for most people... More

After many steps of stairs, you will see a beautiful view from the lighthouse. They also show lighthouse keeper's housing and displays of historical things. It's nice to place to visit.
