What a wonderful job they have done in keeping this place up. Very neat and clean. We were very impressed with the over all facility. Very informative. Highly recommend. Walked the stairs of the Lighthouse.

For $5 a person and military receives 20% it was so worth it. You get to tour around the property (don't go expecting a huge museum) The lighthouse was a trip to climb. My 5 year old daughter had no issue climbing it, but I am terrified of heights so it took me longer. But its a real nice cheap... More

very well kept lighthouse. I liked that they had solid stair treads in the staircase inside the lighthouse vs the kind with holes you can see through. I don't know what that kind is called but I find those un-nerving when walking up a lighthouse and to be able to see thru the staircase. If you've been in other lighthouses... More

It is a great place to take some pictures of the lighthouse, and there's a few bar/restaurants nearby.

We have visited lighthouse all over US and Canada. This is the most informative we have ever visited. Yes, there are lots of steps to climb but so much more. Because if surgery, I could not climb the steps but my husband did. There are over 5 buildings to visit--the homes of lighthouse keepers and their assistants, oil storage, and... More

If you can add this to your trip its a must do. It is very inexpensive and there is a lot to see and do here. We arrived in the early afternoon hours on a Saturday and they were not overwhelmingly busy. They have several original buildings on the grounds that you can go in and tour. There is so... More

When I saw this lighthouse the first thing I said was "Wow"! It is a spectacular structure and awesome to see. If you want to walk up to the top it's 203 steps to get there but there are landings between the steps where you can stop to take a rest if you want. The view from the top is... More
