I've been many times, and it's always crazy. Love the place, except it's hotter than blazes in summer, and may well rain on your parade, er race, but it's the chance you take to see racing. February 500 is a better bet for the weather!

If you already know of DIS, it's probably because you know a little about NASCAR, or you live close enough to it to hear the cars flying around the track. DIS also has some NASCAR/other racing memorabilia located in a building alongside the track. The track is banked at some parts at an amazing 37 degrees, so it makes for... More

Amazing experience, never watched a race here, what a thrill, could not believe the speed! Sat above start/finish line and could see almost the whole track, shame about the weather though as kept having delays but great day. Make sure you take lots of iced drinks as it is a long walk down/up to buy refreshments.

I was a big Earnhardt fan. I love to watch him race. I'm also a big Talladega fan. So i had to stop and see the Dayton track. A must see for any race fan.

Great fan zone, wish they had finished the race. Love the new shuttle system for the handicap. My friend has COPD and the tram really helped her enjoy the midway and fan-zone, when previous trips she was never able to walk the entire distance all day.

A bottle water was $4.00 A beer was $6.00.Price to see race a lot. The seats are great just about any place you sit. The temp track workers need a little Etiquette. Moving sidewalk like city walk would be great.
