It's awesome, opened in '59 and overhauled many times. You can't believe the turns, the TV does nothing for the actual banking of the racetrack. Victory lane can stand the hairs up on your arm. Treat yourself enjoy a race.

I can here for a tour and we all had a great time. Although we opted for the cheaper tour we still were able to see quite a few sites. It is a great thing to do while in town

We are not race or Nascar fans at all and no nothing about it, so, we decided to take a tour of the speedway. They offer 30 and 90 minutes and the price is not too differect. We took the 90 minute tour and were pleasantly surprised at the information that we learned. The tour guide was great and full... More

The guided tour via the truck and trailers was very informative . The new construction is interesting in that they are actually going to reduce the total capacity although the seats will be bigger.

I have been to Many tracks as I have worked with a major nascar client, Daytona is one of the cleanest and best organized by far! Tons of fun, lots to do outside of the speedway, beach is only 10 mins away, a mall is near-by. *if looking for vacation rentals while visiting, look 10 mins away by the beach-much... More

We did the all access tour which was 90 minutes, and we aren't great Nascar fans, we did enjoy it and it was a nice thing to do. We got to take pictures from one of the suites and got to take pictures at the start/finish line as well as at the Winner's podium. Must do when in Daytona beach... More

I did not like how everyone tried to rip people off with the parking nearby. Someone was charging $80.00 to park at the mall. There is free parking about a mile away and they have shuttle buses to take you to and from the race at no charge. Before you go, do your homework.

We could find very little on-line before visiting. When we arrived our first impression was a booth hawking vacation rentals. The museum has been moved to North Carolina. Mostly a lot of construction. We learned more about the speedway during the visit to Ponce Inlet Lighthouse than there.

That place is huge. Its hard to imagine how big it is until you go in person. Take a track tour which gets you down on the track and check out the inside stuff as well .
