We loved the many different automobiles on display. Four hours went by quickly. The weather was perfect and it was easy to find a parking space. They even had a shuttle running from the parking lot to the entrance.

We went as a group as a side visit to a business meeting. Took about 2 hours total. (Probably normally a little less, but there is a lot of construction going on right now-end of March) Very interesting to see the size of the track, hear and see the history and some of the technology. We had a bonus as... More

Gave an excellent overview of the track from the bleachers and our guide ( Ron ) was very knowledgeable. Got a lot out of the whole experience

Went to DIS 3 times recently and on different occasions they had a big RV Show, Motorcycle Racing, and an antique car show and swap meet. The entire facility is in the process of being rebuilt while still open for business- always something going on at DIS.

Let me say that we are NOT NASCAR fans, so we were super leery of stopping and seeing this as well as doing the tour. We almost did not go, but I am really glad that we did. Although I don't see myself ever going to a Daytona 500 race or any race at the track for that matter, it... More

Came here for the Great American Race and the Alert 300, first time seeing Nascar and it was great. The Raceway its self is bigger than i tought it would have been and considering how mwny people were there i was amazed that there was hardly any que's for food/drink or the toilets!

My family of 4 stopped by Daytona International Speedway to check out one of our favorite tracks to watch. We ended up taking the long tour but you can certainly skip the tours and just hangout out around the gift shop and see the building from the outside.....take the tour, it's worth it! There is currently a lot of construction... More

This is a must see for fans of Nascar. The place is huge so wear comfortable shoes. It's so fun to see all the vendors/promoters and there's plenty of ways to spend your money. The track is huge and bring binoculars and ear protection. Well worth going to.

We parked behind the racetrack and then rode a tram around to the front which I found to be interesting. It really gives you a idea about how big this racetrack is. Temperatures were really cold that night, only 35 degrees, but we had bundled up with our Michigan winter gear and braved it. We had some really good food... More

My husband did a ride along and he enjoyed himself immensely, the museum and track tours are very good and informative, if you are a NASCAR fan. If you are going to do a ride a long, aim for around 11:30, wasn't nearly as busy as the 10:00 time we picked.
