Had a great day exploring this best kept secret! Beautiful gardens, aviary, and home to many rescued wild animals. Funded by donations and local businesses. Informative presentations and friendly staff/volunteers. Well worth the admission cost. Highly recommended!

We visited this place reluctantly - thinking it might be rip off. $20 for tram ride through park. It was great. We road through the park. Have a great tour guide - then chance to walk park and return to favorite spots. Bird sanctuary open area - good for photos, Talk about snakes, reptiles, monkey was great. Wander among the... More

We enjoyed all aspects of Flamingo Gardens. We walked at our own pace and enjoyed several knowledgable speakers. The tram ride was informative and the exhibits, especially the otters, were so entertaining. The historical Wray home was interesting, and our guide did a nice job with the basic history of the intentions of the Wray family. It is nice to... More

Flamingo Gardens is a good attraction to go thru after disembarking from a cruise and you have some time before catching a flight home. This is a botanical gardens and wildlife sanctuary. There is a tram that takes you thru the garden complex then you can walk at your leisure as well around the grounds. The tram operator stops every... More

We spent around 2 hours here walking through and looking at all the flamingos, peacocks, egrets, heron, hawks, owls and many other animals. If you haven't ever seen these types of animals it is a great chance. The colors of the plumage on many of them is amazing. Overall a low key but interesting experience.

There is plenty to do and see at Flamingo Gardens. The focus here is on wildlife rescue and rehab. There's a huge enclosed aviary with many rescued birds, including the funny looking roseate spoonbill. There's a wildlife show (and opportunity to get up close and even touch the animals) that repeats several times during the day. You can also take... More

Expensive for such a small area. Nice gardens but you could finish this park in 1 hour. I suggest you go to the free Long Key Park that is 1 minute down the street.

Dear Filome, Thank you for visiting and for sharing your thoughts on TripAdvisor. I am sorry that you were disappointed but comparing us to Long Key is not really very fair since the only similarity is that we are both in Davie. Long Key has no animal exhibits, no narrated tram tour, no Wray Home Museum, no Wildlife Encounter Show... More

Flamingo Gardens is 60 acres of tropical paradise featuring a large variety of native and exotic plants and trees and rehabilitated birds and other Florida native animals. It is not a zoo, but it has quite a few birds and animals, some of them (peacocks) roaming free in the garden. The large trees make it a great place to visit... More

Always nice to visit this park with children. The park is not as big as a zoo so it is ok the go and have a promenade overthere...

This was a nice little animal park, mainly for rescued animals that would not be able to survive in the wild due to injuries they have sustained. Really enjoyed the afternoon there.
