Dated, But Can Be Fun

Went there and on arrival a sign saying closed. It looked liked it had been closed for some time as the carpark was overgrown and nature had taken back over the wooden structures. a great disappointment.

Ft. Lauderdale was a delightful city to see and experience. Great airport, accommodations at the Embassy Suites. Fantastic eateries, and great shopping. We would travel there to spend a few weeks in the winter just to enjoy the surroundings.

Be careful if you walk to this place. The neighborhood is not good. As for boomers it seemed run down and on its last legs. Avoid.

Horrible all the way around. Nobody knew what they were doing, manager was a complete idiot. Most of the games didn't work, need service, lazer tag vests were all broken and worn out. Go carts were shut down because of rain, the manager closed the bar and kitchen an hour and a half early because he was lazy. The staff... More

The batting cages were being self operated and you had guest crossing the batting area as balls were being pitched. The bumper boats had no one operating it as well. The worst part was a the go family carts where the staff was actually riding the go carts against traffic and you have little kids getting off while go carts... More

Boomers is one of the best values in the Ft. Lauderdale area. The place has loads of attractions for a great price. For an all-day pass with unlimited activities, the cost for a Christmas holiday special was a mere $27 per person. Activities included go-karts, laser tag, miniature golf, mini-bowling, air hockey, batting cage, and a variety of video games.... More

Grand Prix was recommended to me by the attendant at the rental car place at the airport. It took me a while to discover that Grand Prix was now Boomers. The first time we went, we did not have the proper shoes, so we were not able to take advantage of a number of the attractions. So we decided to... More

My group of 10 year olds had a great time, but I could not help but notice the old, dated and tired facility. The staff was also subpar. If you have a coupon, it's okay if you are in the area and looking for some entertainment. Appears to me that this place is on verge of being closed down and... More

It is a large arcade with games and some small rides. It is very pricy. If it is a boring day it would be ok to go. Do not do if it is going to rain most fun stuff is outside. Also there are two race tracks the bigger one is in the second parking lot behind and down the... More

This used to be considered a cool place to hang out at when I was little, but it no longer has the same appeal. The staff are rude and have poor customer service. A few years ago my group was blocked for a few minutes at the entrance door by an out of control rude staff member looking to start... More
