My wife and I visited in June 2014. The venue is amazing and there is so much to see and learn while there. The husband and wife tour guide that we encountered were very knowledgeable about the animals and a lot of fun to be around. We rode camels, fed lemurs, took a safari truck ride, saw hippos, fed giraffes... More

Wow what a wonderful experience! My husband and I took our 3 grandchildren to the Giraffe Ranch and it was great. (ages 6,7,&17) All three loved it. Lots of interaction with the animals and very informative. We loved feeding the giraffes and the llamas. Property is extremely well kept and we did not experience any problems with bugs. Expensive but... More

Our group of 9 (ages 12-79) found the Giraffe Ranch when our 19 year old googled "where can I feed a giraffe?" Although it seems expensive when you make your reservation, it is worth it! We all found it to be educational as well as fun. Feeding a giraffe is truly a unique experience! It wasn't just a quick trip... More

We visited Giraffe Ranch in September 2013, the party consisted of myself, husband, husband's sister and my mum. My sister in law is nearly blind and my mum has severe arthristis in her knees so is not as agile as she once was. The owner of the ranch who took us on the safari could not have been more helpful... We took a large group of almost 40 to the Giraffe Ranch. The property is nicely laid out with an assortment of caged and free range animals. The animals are from South America and Southern Africa. We saw a few species that we haven't seen on safaris in Africa. Owners Lex and Elena are charming hosts and tour guides. They... More

My wife has Stage IV inflammatory breast cancer. The side effects from the chemo are painful and long lasting. However, at the Giraffe Ranch she really seemed relaxed and as happy as she'd ever been. She enjoyed riding a camel, holding a hedgehog, feeding the lemurs and giraffes. Something special about that human-animal bond. She has difficulty walking, but she... More

The Giraffe Ranch exceeded my expectations. This isn't a petting zoo but a very educational interactive visit with amazing animals. You learn so much about the ecosystems needed to sustain these animals as well as information about the animals and their family structures and much more. Animals are in an open environment and are raised in the natural habitat of... More

Very cool attraction right in our back yard. Giraffes were awesome but not the only animals at the ranch. In fact there were more Ostrich's, zebras, lemurs, and other animals than giraffes. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. A bit pricey though at 75.00 per person for the basic tour.

This place is Florida's best kept secret. Beautiful, secluded ranch owned by a couple who love animals and have a vast knowledge of them and the surrounding area. Great hands on experience with giraffes, camels, rhinos and lemurs. Pay the extra charge to feed the lemurs, you won't regret it. This is not a zoo, it is a working ranch... More

Our time was limited, so we were amazed to see such a unique collection of animals in an area that provided an ingenious arrangement and utilization of space. No zoo we ever visited provided such care and enrichment for the animals as displayed here on a rural property where so much could be experienced & enjoyed within our limited time... More
