Description:

American Pro Diving Center offers guided Crystal River dive and snorkel...

American Pro Diving Center offers guided Crystal River dive and snorkel Manatee tours for over 18 years in florida. Our snorkel with manatee tours are guided by in water professional divemasters and is just one of the reasons we received many awards from state and local educational systems as well as the National Geographic Dive Center Award from PADI and National Geographic. Experience manatee tours with all the comforts that a five star facility has to offer in Crystal River, Florida. Our trips are successful because the dive masters educate on the manatee and the manners of being in their environment while on the manatee snorkel tours. The guides enter the water with you so that both you and the Manatees have a safe and enjoyable time even if you are new to snorkeling. This can be the experience of a lifetime on our Crystal River manatee snorkel.

This was a wonderful trip- the staff was friendly, helpful, efficient. Our guide (Cory) was excellent- very thorough in explaining the procedures and came into the water to make sure everyone was seeing the manatees and observing the regulations. i did this trip twice and was very pleased both times.

Moria was our captain and did a fantasticm job. She knew where to go and how to attract the manatees and was quick to point them out and help us interact with them Her video of our time out was great, she captured fantastic manatee poses and interactions between ourselves and the mom's nursing their young. A great trip with... More

Our group used this operation for our Manatee snorkel. They were professional and communicative. Our first day was a wash because of the 40Mph gusts, but our second day was great.

Sean was an outstanding guide in leading out group from North Carolina on our snorkeling trip with the Manatee and an excellent cavern dive in less than ideal visibility. He handled all issues in a professional manner and did his best to ensure everyone had a great experience.

When we first got to the dive shop, we were introduced to our instructor. He explained that we had a big group(7 ppl) and stressed that we had to rush through instructions and training to end at an early time. Also explaining that our tips (not the price of the trip included) was his only income and way for him... More

We took the Homosassa river snokeling tour which takes you right next to sanctuaries. We saw many Manatees and they are unbelievably curious. They are like dogs, come right at you with no fear. The tour we took started 6:30am and air was colder than water. the earlier tour gives better chance for encounter and it was true. The tour... More

I gave them 5 stars even though we did not see a lot of Manatee. I did not blame anyone. They are wild and non-captive, therefore, you can't control where they are. We saw a few. There were a mom and a baby. They were so cute. Body of water at Crystal River was crystal clear as name suggested. They... More

These guys are pro. Just like the name says. We went out for a three hour tour when the weather starting getting rough. No, no, no! We snorkeled with the manatees in beautiful sunshine weather in coastal waterways and saw an amazing array of wildlife and sea creatures. Our guide, Phil knew where to go to really show and we... a snorkel tour to the manatees and a drift dive in the rainbow river are worthwhile. but when you get dropped of at a crouded spot with already 10 boats around, it's no fun, especially when other places would be available (in a further distance). this company does not more than others do, not better and not worse. but when... Based on the photos we decided to book with American Pro Diving Center Manatee tour but we were very disappointed as there were so many other groups at the same site the water was badly churned up and manatees were only visible at 8-10 inches so we were unable to take any clear photos.Next time we will take a private...
