Ok so let me say this we understand that people need to make money year round. BUT my husband and I ask many times on the phone we would get to swim with manatees? And were told yes, just sometimes at this time of the year (July) there are only 50 plus in the small Kings Bay Area instead of... More

Equipment was in good condition, nice older boat, cute dock, and liked the parking lot signs. They need a larger sign out on main road that says their building is behind the hotel on a different road. Only other comment is I'd think they would listen to the weather radar to keep up with the conditions.

always wanted to do this and it was worth the wait cold morning in the early hours but the best time to see these great gentle creatures in the water and what an experience must have been about 15 mins with this great manatee letting us be beside them and being able to rub its back and then for it... We did a tour with Capt Jim this past Tuesday morning and had a wonderful trip. It's the slow season now, and not many manatees to find, but Capt Jim was determined to find some for us and was successful in doing so! We found about 5 in a small cove and were able to interact and touch them. While... More

Our family took a trip to swim with the manatees. We were very excited from the posted pictures, but when we jumped in the water, we could see no more than 3 feet in front of us. Even though we saw the manatee from the boat, we could not see it while in the water unless they swam directly below... More

I was on vacation in Central Florida with my 17 year old and her friend. They received a recommendation to do a manatee tour while here. We tried to get into the recommended tour shop, but they were full. This was a win for us! While Crystal River Watersports may not be the most glorius of tours, it was by... More

Swimming with the Manatees at Crystal River Watersports is a wonderful thing to do. The owner is a doll, very accommodating with personal service. The location, cost, orientation video, equipment, captains and experience is fantastic !!! We were out on the boat for about 4 hours. The sightseeing was exceptional along with the swim with the manatees and swimming in... More

Spent lots of time with a baby manatee. Captain Larry was great. Remember to bring a towel and dry clothes to change into.

Called a week ahead to make a reservation. We questioned what the pontoon was like that we would be riding on. We were told that the seats had cushions and that there was a porta pot on board. Our pontoon had metal benches to sit on and there was no porta pot. I questioned our Captain and he said this... More

47 Degrees today when we started out made for a cooolllllllddddddd ride out to the Manatees. However, since the water temp is a constant 72, it felt positively BALMY to swim in! The wetsuits also kept me very comfortable as I'm a tad "fluffy" but watch out for the kids or skinny ppl in your group. My 17-YO son who... More
