I had never snorkeled before and frankly do not enjoy swimming, I HAD A GREAT TIME! My husband and I have been a lot of places and swimming with Manatees is at the top of our list! We are planning our next year vacation to Crystal River already, next time we are bringing our kids and grandchildren. THANKS Crystal River... More

I don't think we could have made a better choice in tour operators. Mike is awesome and provides a quality experience. Captain Robert was equally awesome and gave us some great information about the river, ecosystem, history, etc. (in addition to his knowledge of the manatee). Read all the reviews, mull over the weird 2-star ratings (excusing them immediately), and... More

We skipped this when we were here in June because there are less sightings much to our disappointment but it was well worth the 7 month wait! We had and amazing time and saw at least 8 together. Something I will definitely be doing again on my next trip to Florida. The staff were great and our tour guide was... More

We chose this manatee tour based on Trip Advisor ratings and we were not disappointed. We purposely chose the coldest day of the year and went on the 7am tour to maximize our chances of seeing lots of manatees and we saw dozens. The adults sought us out for belly scratches and the babies consistently met us nose to nose.... More

An amazing experience. What a great amimal to be able to see in its wild habitat. To be able to see and touch manatees when they like on their terms. And what a great guide Robert, very informative, knowing so much about the manatees. My daughter, 7 years old, and i would do it again even though she was afraid😉.... More

I heard about this a year ago and definitely say it should be on your bucket list - however you should know that the manatees come into the springs in late fall and winter when the gulf waters turn cooler so they can rest in the 72 degree natural springs so if you want a great result plan your trip... The company is ecologically friendly. Before the tour you get a briefing of the do's and dont's. On the boat once again. They put only 6 people per boat. If you can, book the early morning tour (7:00) on a cold day. The chance for spotting manatees is much higher. On the afternoon tour, there are many more other boats/people... More

We took our family of 5 with 3 teenagers from NYC looking for a little adventure. We were not disappointed. Captain Sam took us to the perfect spot despite the difficulty of locating a decent manatee sighting. His professionalism and persistence in getting the customers an amazing experience was appreciated. Despite the bay being mobbed by other tour boats, this... More

This was an amazing tour, swimming in the wild with real life wild creatures - completely docile and totally safe. We go right up and close with these properly wild creatures, the whole family was involved and guided very well from an expert. This was definitely one of the best tours we have ever done, a fraction of the cost... More

We took a group of 24 students on a school trip to Florida and wanted to book a manatee tour. We searched for a company that was both ecologically friendly and educational and Crystal River Watersports fit the bill. They happily accommodated our school group. As they normally did groups of 6 on their boats, they brought in multiple boats... More
