No Walk-ins Accepted - We no longer offer tours: June-July-August-September due to the water quality and manatee numbers. Tour Reservation Confirmation Required -We are a private tour company owned and operated ONLY by the owners/captains.We offer very limited seating so we can give each tour the "personal and educational" attention you want and allow the manatees to feel comfortable while we explore their world. While on tour if you ask, we'll even explain how manatee rescues are performed and what we do in our spare time as manatee volunteers to help PROTECT and PRESERVE, this incredible species for future generations.

We lived in Florida years ago. But regrettably we never made it to Crystal River to see the Manatees. So with one daughter in college and my son in high school, I decided the next trip down I had to make it happen while we still could. I'll admit I wasn't sure the kids would go for it. But when... I cannot say enough good things about this trip. Captain Stacy, our guide, was so knowledgeable, and her love for her work shows. Our tour was small and Stacy made sure that at every turn the manatees safety was our top concern, and that their natural habitat was protected. Overall, it was an AMAZING experience, and I would recommend it... More

Capt. Mike was very patient with our small group of four, explaining the process of everything as we went. None of us had every swam with the manatees before, so we didn't really know what to expect. The trip started out trying to find some manatees, but it was a difficult process because most were out in the ocean eating,... More

Captain Stacy took our group of 6 out on a private 9 a.m. tour on a chillier Saturday. Her experience, knowledge, love, and appreciation for the manatees was incredible. We appreciated her honesty. She tells it how it is, and doesn't over promise. For example, the manatees have been here all winter, cold & hungry, and when the weather warms... More

The manatees in paradise tour is the best! Cap. Stacy do care for you and the manatees. It was semi private tour (that time we were only three other friends and I in the boat) and she was great explaining us everything about the manatees, the sanctuary, and the programs she and her husband volunteer to help in the conservation... Captain Mike gave our small group of 4 first-time adults an amazing adventure yesterday. While many larger pontoon boatfuls of seekers were swarming around the outside perimeter of the protected area at Three Sisters Spring, far away from the few manatees resting at the inner sanctum of that area, Mike gave us a much better adventure! His intimate knowledge of... More

We enjoyed the tour and appreciate the efforts Captains Mike and Stacy made to get us close to manatees. The only problem was that it was extremely cold (i.e., the car was iced over when we came out of the hotel that morning to drive to the boat) and we shivered throughout. We had been told that we could not... More

After an amazing outing with Captain Mike, we came away believing we had made the best possible choice for our tour to view these gentle creatures. Mike is extremely passionate about Manatees, and it's so obvious it's much more than just a job to him. He's an absolute walking encyclopedia on all matters Manatees. He goes all out to help... Great trip out with Capt. Mike to see the manatees on a day there were few!!! Great ambassador for these wonderful creatures. A wonderful bonus to the tour was he took pics & videos. All you had to do was float and enjoy your time, knowing your memories would be preserved! Capt. Stacy could not have been any easier to... More

Our group of 6 adult cousins chose Manatees in Paradise based on other TripAdvisor reviews…and were so glad that we did. We were assigned to Captain Mike's boat - each of the company's two boats holds 6 people, I believe - so we had the boat to ourselves and his full attention. He provided an educational, funny, caring experience with... More
