Captain Blain was great! He had a good sense of humor and knowledge of the Manatees. He was kind enough to help my kids in the water to be able to touch the manatee as well. It was a great experience a lot of fun. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great experience of being... More

Although it is snorkel with manatees, we took the dolphin cruise on a Sunday afternoon. It was like a private cruise since there were only five of us on the boat, and they don't take more than six. Captain Gerald was very nice and answered all our questions. He searched for dolphins, but we were not able to find any.... More

If anyone is considering "Snorkel With Mantees", I suggest make the trip. I am fearful of water; little scared of sharks, alligators, etc. Actually, did not even plan on getting in the water. We had a party of 5. We were on a pontoon boat with Captain Garrett. It was kind of like a private tour as it was just... More

Always wanted to do this and although we only saw a few manatees it was well worth it. What fun to be snorkeling along and realize that the scarred 'massive table' below you was a huge, gentle living thing. Wish I could remember our captain's name - he was great. The boat ride itself was beautiful and we loved that... More

We did not get to snorkel or play with any manatees. The place we went had lots of snorkelers and the manatees only stayed in the protected area where people could not go. Thus we only got to see manatees in murky water from a distance. We could not really see them, just dark spots in the distance that you... More

Hi Karen and thank you for your response. This must have been in March when the manatee protected areas were in place and we got extream warmth. Yes we do encounter a few days where the manatees are only in one area. The are only looking for warmth and food, so their might be a trip or two that is... More

First let me start off saying that I thought I had wasted my money, as Captain Laura, MADE IT SOO WORTH the money. She was great w my kids (6 &8) & a wonderful tour guide, was very outgoing & friendly. We instantly bonded. My son (6) was terrified to get in the water. Laura was kind & considerate of... More

My friends and I went during warmer weather so there weren't many manatees but we still got to see a momma and her calf! Plus captain Garrett kept the boat ride very entertaining! This was my second time floating :) with manatees and I had more fun on this tour than the other company I used, and I went on... More

I don't feel very safe normally in the water. Even on the boat sometimes I get a little anxious...Anyway, our "captain" Laura was simply perfect. She made me feel so safe and since she explained how everything would develop through the tour, the safety instructions, the tour was a delight. I will for sure do it again and bring friend... More

The water wasn't quite as clear as I expected, but once we found the manatees it really didn't matter. They were huge and very passive about our presence. There was another kid on the boat who chased them which was a bit frustrating, but I chalked it up to excitement. Our boat smelled a little like urine, but it wasn't... More
