We had a group of about 13 adult friends from different states who wanted a nature guide to take us on a river kayaking trip. Since we don't live in the area, we wanted an organized, guided trip. Aardvark did a great job setting that up for us and we had a great day. We plan to be back.

Traveled with a group to Crystal River to swim with manatees and kayak. Planned a custom kayaking trip on the Chassahowitzka RIver with a natural guide. The guide was knowledgeable and the kayaks excellent. Sue, the owner, was very helpful in planning our visit.

Sue was our guide. Two adults, three teens. The manatees were serene, the trip allowed the boys to compete doing "cardio kayaking" in the bay far away from the animals. The best experience was probably hearing the care of preserving sufficient wildnest and habitat to sustain the livelihood of manatees from a "practical conservationist" that spent a lifetime finding reasonable... We did this as a day trip from Orlando. It took about 1 3/4 hours to get there. Very easy drive. I have to say I really agree with aardvarks company philosophy about passive observation of the manatees, instead of snorkeling with them. As we were kayaking around we must have witnessed 6 different tour boats basically chasing the poor... More

This kayaking adventure was truly the highlight of our trip. With Sue's knowledge of the manatees, wildlife and plants we were completely entertained. Although it was 80 degrees we saw several manatees and had a few interactions. Thank you Aardvarks for an amazing adventure.

Nice relaxing trip and our guide was very knowledgeable! Matt knew a lot about the plants and wildlife and we did see a couple of slumbering manatees way back in a secluded area.

we were beginners in the kayak but this tour was easy to follow and thanks to Matt's patience it was a wonderful experience. We could benefit from his knowledge on all the local animals. Thanks to his guiding we saw dolphins and manatees very close to our kayak. I would highly recommend this tour and will surely be back to... More

Just the two of us so Matt our tour guide had just two visitors to look after. So much info shared & understanding of the local environment. The sucesses & some of the failings of man- kinds effect on the area. We saw dolphins leaping in air. And 5 manatees swam around our kayaks for quite sometime. Easy paddling conditions... More

April 19, 2015 we booked our second private kayak trip. Matt, our guide was EXCELLENT. Very helpful on instructions and extremely knowledgable on the area. We picked the backcountry/Oz paddle. It was the perfect fit for us. The water so clear you can see the bottom and then our BIG surprise. A small pod of Dolphins that came up next... More
