This place honestly looks pretty sketchy on the outside, but the rooms appeared recently redone with all the nice amenities and modern decor. The price is great and they include a discount for the manatee tour. We also rented a kayak, which was reasonably priced and the guy a the dock took the time to direct us to the Three... More

I called last week to rent a pontoon boat on Saturday. I called early in the AM 7:55 and the phone was answered "This is Capt. Stu". I asked him about the rentals and he told me it would be $190(ish) and I went ahead to give him my card number. He said "Are you going to be doing any... More

We rented a pontoon boat here to enjoy some time on the water while in the area. Although we did not see any manatees (probably due to the time of year we visited), we had a very nice time boating around the bay and looking at the homes along the water. The folks in the dive center were very nice.

Hotel is minimal lodging at best, but the people and convenience to the Kings Spring makes it number one in the area. Marge, at the front desk takes care of us every year and has never failed us. The dive shop and the boats are great.

We arrived on the morning of March 19th 2013 anticipating the adventure of swimming with the sea cows and were not disappointed. Our Captain and Guide was Charlie, a very professional and knowledgeable man who entertained us and advised us during our journey with the gentle Manatee. He educated us in when and how to approach the Manatee and taking... More

Were were ucky with our captain guide Charly. He explained a lot on the way out. Took us first to 3 sisters before others got there, so we had it all for ourselves with perfect visibility. Because it was "off season" for the manatees, they were low in number and thus hard to find. But Charley new how and where... More

Simply put, this is the absolute best place to begin any aquatic adventure in Crystal River. Located directly on the water only a few hundred feet from the principle spring, the shop is by far the most convenient (not to mention the loveliest) place in town to start your snorkeling/diving adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a rookie, the... More

I had a great time on my guided manatee snorkeling tour. I thought we would see maybe 4 or 5 manatees, but in fact we easily saw more like 30-40! They were eager to swim by us and were of all different sizes. Definitely worth the trip!

A phone call today to this business revealed that despite being called a "dive shop" and advertising "guided dive tours" on their web site, they don't offer any scuba related activities. Maybe the web site is just outdated but they really should be accurate about such things. A web site is the first-line representation of the business, and if they... More
