Hotel is minimal lodging at best, but the people and convenience to the Kings Spring makes it number one in the area. Marge, at the front desk takes care of us every year and has never failed us. The dive shop and the boats are great.

We arrived on the morning of March 19th 2013 anticipating the adventure of swimming with the sea cows and were not disappointed. Our Captain and Guide was Charlie, a very professional and knowledgeable man who entertained us and advised us during our journey with the gentle Manatee. He educated us in when and how to approach the Manatee and taking... More

Were were ucky with our captain guide Charly. He explained a lot on the way out. Took us first to 3 sisters before others got there, so we had it all for ourselves with perfect visibility. Because it was "off season" for the manatees, they were low in number and thus hard to find. But Charley new how and where... More

Simply put, this is the absolute best place to begin any aquatic adventure in Crystal River. Located directly on the water only a few hundred feet from the principle spring, the shop is by far the most convenient (not to mention the loveliest) place in town to start your snorkeling/diving adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a rookie, the... More

I had a great time on my guided manatee snorkeling tour. I thought we would see maybe 4 or 5 manatees, but in fact we easily saw more like 30-40! They were eager to swim by us and were of all different sizes. Definitely worth the trip!

A phone call today to this business revealed that despite being called a "dive shop" and advertising "guided dive tours" on their web site, they don't offer any scuba related activities. Maybe the web site is just outdated but they really should be accurate about such things. A web site is the first-line representation of the business, and if they... More

Never done a manatee dive before! It was a fantastic experience and those at the dive shop were fantastic! Very knowledgeable and the shop had plenty of resources available. I would highly recommend it. Restaurant and bar next door was icing on the cake after being out in the sun all day. I would highly recommend the activities the shop... More

Went on a boat tour with family even though the waters had gotten choppy due to an upcoming storm. Broderick was a great tour guide! He had many stories and kept us entertained the entire time. The Dive Shop at the Port Hotel is a wonderful location right on the water. The entire experience couldn't have gotten any better!

We went on a trip recently which took us to the PORT MARINA HOTEL AND ITS DIVE CENTER. There is a great bar and restaurant right near by so you can plan your trip accordingly. Bring your swimsuit or have it on because after you see the video, you will want to snorkel with these creatures. I did not plan... More

The Port had amazing service and made it easy to get suited up and out to the manatees. The location of the... More
