This company are your typical dive shop who do this stuff day in day out. They are experts about the area, the manatees and all the rules that apply in the preservation area. We were lucky enough to see many manatees up close who had gathered to rest. The only down side are the numbers of other tour companies and... More

Crystal Lodge Dive is the best! Very helpful/friendly staff, rental equipment is great and affordable. We rented a pontoon boat for a day out on Kings Bay and had a great day diving and snorkeling. We also rented their dive equipment to dive some of the nearby springs on the following day and had no problems.

We rented a pontoon boat for two hours. I was prepared for a bill of over $100, $150 easily, but they were only $25/hour. Yes, the boats were a little older, but did the job, and I found their service to be excellent. Polite, efficient, and exactly what we needed. It's not a "luxe" place, but honestly, that's not why... We hired a boat and diving equipment heading out to Kings Bay, the divers dived, the snorkelers snorkelled and I relaxed on the deck with my book. After catching a glimpse at the dolphins and finding manatees the lad and lasses fished. Not realising the time we soon hand to head back returning the boat and equipment. Arriving back 30... More

Went in this morning to inquire about advanced open water classes and other dive trips. There were four employees and one student. We were ignored when walked in. Nit even greeted. 3 employees were chatting with the student about sharks and one guy was just behind the counter. Finally he asked if he could help us. I told him what... More

The manatees were very cooperative! Timing and weather does matter a bit so do your research but we were fortunate. Too many to count. Water a bit murky and all of a sudden you are face to face with a 2000 pound gentle giant who wants you to rub his, or was it her, belly. This is a must do... More

It was a little chilly out that morning, but once we got into the water and started seeing manatees up close, all thoughts of cold and discomfort were forgotten. The dive shop had us watch a short video (maybe 15 mins) about how to approach the manatees--what to do and not do. Then we got on the boat for a... More

Went there at least 3 times with family (including todlers), friends and girlfriend each time during the winter. I could see manatees every time, il will always remember what my parents (in their late 60's and not the adventurous type) said when they got out of the water: It is definitely a thing to see before you die. It is... More

Staff was amazing! We went on a snorkeling trip to the springs to get up close and personal with manatee knowing this may not be the best time of year. We enjoyed our boat driver JD and he interacted with the kids and made it fun! Location was beautiful! Although we saw no manatee we had a blast!, we told... More
