This is the place to go for a great bookstore experience....there are always interesting book signings and events, in addition to the cozy small bookstore feel. There are indoor and outdoor cafes to while away the time while considering your purchase

It is a little upscale. It has a nice layout with food and a bar. I thought the picture of the nude women with a lion as I walked into the child's section an unusual location for the picture. If you are a bookstore lover you will enjoy this one.

Favorite neighborhood bookstore with frequent author events, live music, and excellent cafe with indoor and outdoor seating! This is the original, first location and will always be my favorite although the others; Lincoln road, Bal Harbor Shops, Cayman Islands, etc... are just as nice! Started coming here when my kids were little 16 years ago and still prefer to the... More

This is a classic and one of the best bookstores / cafes left in this country. If you have a love for bookstores and the way books should lovingly be presented this is a must see.

Needing a drink stop on our Big Bus tour yesterday, the guide pointed us to this place. Otherwise we might just have walked past it. A lovely large bookshop with various rooms, with an old time style. Interesting bits of artworks displayed throughout and a good selection of books and gifts. We were pleasantly surprised to be sat inside the... More

It's nice that depsite large chains little independent bookstores like Books and Books can still strive for existence and actually succeed. It's an oasis of calm and quiet and has some great exhibits, speakers, book signings and other events. I have been to a few evening events that were quite nice. There is a restaurant that you can eat at... More

You could find a lot of variation eventhough it's a small store. The staff were friendly and if you want you can buy a little something to eat while there.
