I cannot say enough good things about this fine independent book seller, which has become an institution in Miami. It includes a nice restaurant with live music in the court yard, numerous author events, knowledgeable staff, comfortable surroundings, and impressive collections in a range of areas, from art and architecture through fiction to zen and other religions/philosophies. It's weak in... More

Love this place. Amazing book store, with outdoor café, and great Author's series. If you love to read, this is the place to go.

What a concept: Normally, if you're a reader, you would diddle around on the Internet and then buy pretty much any book you'd like on Amazon, and have it delivered for free. Or, you would visit Barnes and Noble, and if you're lucky find an actual book tucked in amongst the games, toys, and puzzles that clutter the establishment. Or,... More

We discovered this great place to have morning coffee in a quiet courtyard. Open most nights until midnight, with music on the weekends, this bookstore cafe boutique is an oasis for bibliophiles.

A good all around experience. Great books, helpful staff, good food, good wine, nice atmosphere, definitely a better buying experience than Amazon.com or one of the other chains or online sellers. All of their locations are great. It was nice to see the new Arsht Center cafe crowded on a night when there were no performances. Good place to go... More

Located on Aragon Avenue near my office, this has become a favorite place for lunch, to entertain clients, or to take out-of-town guests. Love their salads and soups. The menu changes and provides many excellent and healthy choices for the most discriminating diner. Only one block off the Miracle Mile, I highly recommend this spot to visitors who want a... More

Very accomodating staff. Helpful whether you are buying used books or agonizing over a T shirt choice. Books can be purchased with just the list from your student. They will look up numbers and editions etc. Very helpful people there.

I went into this store looking for a book about the Coral Gables area. It is located in a vintage Gables building off the beaten path. I felt that I was in someone's library. Books to the ceiling! Had a large selection of books on the Miami, Coral Gables and Florida areas. I found just what I was looking for... More

If you're in the mood for books on rustic wooden shelves stretching so high you need an old fashioned ladder to reach them, or a peaceful courtyard where you can eat/enjoy reading a book, then come to Books & Books. The atmosphere is the highlight, but the books themselves are unique finds (yes, on the more expensive side for sure).... More
