You could find a lot of variation eventhough it's a small store. The staff were friendly and if you want you can buy a little something to eat while there.

An "institution" in the Gables and a nice place to hang out quietly and peacefully to enjoy a book, friendship and light food fare.

Great place to eat the food is awesome and you are inside a book store so you can browse and read while you are having lunch. he only reason I didn't give it a 5 start is because the service is slow at times. But this does not deter from the good meal.

I support independent book stores, but I do not support bad food. We ate lunch here after buying some books and we found the iced tea to be bland and the food to be generic.

The atmosphere at Books n Books is truly what makes me a loyal customer. It is a great place to browse for books because there are many seating options. There is outdoor and indoor seating for the cafe. They also hold organized book signings, which are a joy to attend. The location is around Miracle Mile, a popular strip in... More

What a wonderful place to meet friends, have a cup of espresso, and purchase unique books! Couldn't find anything to dislike. There was outdoor seating available but we sat inside. We arrived before the cafe opened but they offered to make us coffees and enjoy some breakfast cake which we did while we read the paper and looked around. The... More

Love this place for its independent book store experience. One of the few successful independent book stores left. There is a Barnes and Noble right now the street but this place has a good following. Constant lectures and book signings keep people coming back. Clearly B&N is cheaper but Books and Books provides a grew experience. A cafe was recently... More

Tucked in the back of an area off the shopping area is this great book store which is wonderfully stocked with not only great books, but cards and other gift items.

At a point when independent bookstores are all but disappeared, Books and Books is still king. Mitch still runs a great store with a focus on literary works. I miss the old days when his poetry section took up an entire room, but he still has a better selection than most. And his cafe rocks!

Discovered it a year ago when I moved to the Miami area. I've been there at least once a week, sometimes after a film at the Coral Gables Art Cinema across the street, often for meetings, sometimes just to sit and enjoy some wine and food, listen to jazz on Friday evenings, or just to chill
