Well, not quite Miami proper but in Coral Gables which is a delightful suburb about 20 minutes drive from Miami airport. The pool is an oasis of tranquility compared to the hustle and bustle of Miami its satellite beach resorts. Built in the 1920's the pool and its buildings have a wonderful period style. Its well worth spending an afternoon... More

This attraction has been in the Coral Gables area for about 100 years and the ancient coral rock structures throughout the facility give it an ancient feel. It is beautifully landscaped and has some waterfalls. For safety reasons diving isn't permitted, so you pretty much just paddle around or stand bobbing in the water. It has the feel of swimming... Everytime I visit Miami I have to go to The Venetian Pool. It is beautiful. Very clean facilities, friendly staff, no problems parking. Water is cold but you get used to it. I never thought to pack a lunch but I will next time. Definitley a place that needs to be seen when you come to Miami

The decor is fantastic, we would hear stories of Johnny Weismuller swimming like a fish before he became Tarzan. Beautiful place to visit if just for the decor. Old Miami staple.

The water is cold. That's the only thing I personally don't like about it. But my kids could care less, they love it. It's really fun. I take snacks, a packed lunch and we can be there for hours.

What a classic pool, you feel like you are in a movie set. It is huge and very relaxing. This is an adult pool for sure.

Spring Fed pool dug out of a limestone quarry-about a 100 years ago. Water temperature is 72 degrees. Beautiful falls, caves, and big enough to float and swim without "bumping" into people. Beautiful area around the pool--with variety of areas to explore. Lockers available, rental lawn chairs and Snack Bar with nice outside area to enjoy a lunch. Very relaxing... More

Very nice and quiet - beautifull place being close to 100 years old. Worth using an afternoon there with children.

This is a naturally fed spring pool. Well worth the entrance fee. Went with my 9 year old son. we had a blast. The vegetation is beautiful and the water is cool and refreshing.
