Stumbled upon the ventitan pool while walking during a stay at the Biltmore. Beautiful, with it's grottos and caves.

This is a one of a kind swimming pool. I visited the pool in mid July and needed a "cool" experience. I was pleasantly surprised! The $11 price was just right. The photos in the lobby told of a rich history, the pool appeared well kept, the locker rooms were CLEAN and uncrowded. Although it was midsummer, there were people... More

I have been going to Venetian since I was a little kid (more than 30 years ago....) and there is just nowhere like it. It has stayed as beautiful as ever. It is spring fed so the water is cold, but Miami is hot so it can be pretty refreshing. The waterfalls and caves are beautiful I love to look... More

I used to go as a kid and for us it was an awesome place to go. I recently went back with my children and nephews to show them the cold pool with the caves. The water is sooo cold. It's busy in the summer with camp groups going early. If you are going with children that are not used... More

There is no other public pool in the world like this one! This is a must visit when you are in Coral Gables, the City Beautiful. The pool is spring-fed by a natural aquifer and is 72 degrees, so the perfect way to cool off in the summer time heat in Florida.

As most of the reviews state, the pools are beautiful, if you have the chance to see it, you must. I went with my three children (8,5 & 3) who are all swimmers, as well as with some friends, on a summer weekday. Because the pool area is so large, It was a bit stressful to keep close tabs on... My son and I arrived just after opening on a Sunday and were immediately in awe of this place. Since it was early, there were only a few people there. The parking across the street was easy to find a spot. We brought our own beach chairs and drinks from home and staked out a spot perched on the far... More

My family and I had a Florida vacation this year. We traveled from Jacksonville to Key West. One of the places I was excited about seeing was the Venetian Pool in Coral Gables. We arrived on July 5th (Sat) but were turned away because of insufficient life guards. We waited around for a little while hoping we would be able... More

When you're finally sick of Disney and all the manufactured fun we try to throw at you when you come to Florida, take a dip in the Venetian Pool and see how Florida was before you had to give up all your cash at the state line. Gorgeous architecture. Great history. Refreshing pool. Real Florida.
