Visited Butterfly World with my aunt in August and it was a wonder experience! There's just so many species of butterflies. Hybrids that I've just never seen! Met up with a wonderful pair of macaws as well. Could hear them over 40 ft away. There's a gift shop there for purchasing souvenirs and for purchase of plants which draw butterflies.... More

What an amazing day! Girls had such a great time. Held the butterfly's , they were everywhere. It was a bit hot, but it didn't matter. What a beautiful, peaceful place. We bought cacoons and couple of days later had our own butterflys... and lady bugs. It was a real adventure for kids.

Excellent place to be with the family and the staff very nice and helpful. It was a perfect day even it was a rainy day a thought that I would not see any butterfly but there are so many in there that we were walking just beside them.

Not much going on here. The older folks seem to appreciate it more than the kids visiting. It was overpriced and overrated. The only part I enjoyed was feeding the parrots.

All the positive reviews are deserved. However I have to give it two stars because there are no exit signs to get out of the park. However I have to correct myself. There is a large exit sign, but it's at the exit when you reach it. Now this is a large enough facility that they offer you a map... More

We usually had a yearly pass for this attraction, since we live up the street and it's cheaper. Word to the wise: if you think butterflies are pretty but are bug nervous, wear a hat. They land wherever they want. It's fun for the kids and there are always different butterfly types hatching, so never the same visit.

So the idea of a visit to Butterfly World appealed to my wife (who loves birds, nature, etc) and to a slightly lesser extent me (who loves learning about anything) but not at all to my three kids ages 8, 12, and 14 (who love to learn but didn't see the attraction to this). Once there, though, we all had... More

It's improved so much since I was there last. My grandparents brought me here when I was younger and I could not wait to bring my girls here for the first time. We fed parrots, saw all sorts of butterflies, lizards and insects, and even got screamed at by a macaw.

Butterfly world is one of the must see stops in S Florida. Not only do they have Butterfly's that will land on you, and assortment you will probably not see anywhere else in the world, but they have bugs, birds, plants, and a lot of other things to learn about. Feeding the birds nectar for $1.00 is definitely something to... More
