I have toured other butterfly sanctuaries before; but this one is TOP Notch! Clean, organized and fun! Great place to take pictures and family fun! Recommend!

We loved Butterfly World! The butterfly enclosure reminded me of Disney movies with fairies dancing everywhere. I was able to take some great pictures because the butterflies were used to people and stayed put while I photographed them. In the aviary, there was a huge variety of finches and other birds from around the world. they were also not afraid... More

Every time we go to Ft. Lauderdale area, Butterfly World is immediately on our radar. The venue is very family friendly and wheelchair accessible. The visual is extreme, and the knowledge learned is more than amazing! My favorite part was the Lorakeet area. My Big Bro paid a dollar for liquid feed, only to have the bird poop on my... More

Amazing exhibits...very educational. Be careful where you walk-butterflies all over. Unfortunately very hot being outside in warm weather. Check local newspapers for any specials...have seen discounted and even free offerings - on some holidays. Doubt you'll see this many butterflies in one location anywhere else.

Visiting with 4 adults and 3 kids 4 to 10 so very expensive. The butterflies were fantastic and colorful but be cautioned this is really outdoor so in the hot humid summer be aware. So of the of us the length of our interested varied from loving it and going around a 2nd time to pulling out the cell phone... More

It's pricey & hot... the pond with the swinging bridge is empty. You would think at almost $30 per visitor they could strum up some fish or flamingos for the pond. The tropical birds are really the best part. If you pay $1 to feed them, they land on you to eat. I was nervous for my 16 month daughter... More

Waking among the many species of butterfly was exellent. The many displays of insects and the stages of the butterfly development are very educational.

Butterfly World has the largest butterfly enclosure we have seen . The birds, and garden are really nice to stroll through on a sunny Florida Day. It is privately owned, so the entrance fee is higher than other gardens. You can easily find coupons in their website or in the newspapers for 3 dollars off. The only thing I would... More
