My son was 8 at the time and I think he would have enjoyed it much more when he was younger. Personally, if I lived here year round I would buy a seasonal pass just to sit quietly in with the butterflies and meditate. Very tranquil at times. I found he raced through so it wasn't worth the money. Best... More

It is my 3rd time experiencing butterfly world! A relaxing feeling! The music and the colors just everything perfect! Just today it was a little hot! We went with a lady that is way over 80 years old! But what a magical place! You must go - a place to experience!! To my experience it is better to be there... More

I know this doesn't sound like much. when a butterfly lands right on your daughter or son watch their reaction. It was all worth it! I enjoyed it too. Put this on your list. It's Florida, you will get some bad weather and this is good for a fill in day!

The first time my wife and I went to Butterfly World I chose not to take a camera. That was a mistake. The butterflies, the foliage, the exotic birds, the insect collections and the like are spectacular. I have become a member of Butterfly World, and now I take pictures.

Great place. I've been there in 2010, 2012, and this year. Every time I feel like I returned into my childhood. Amazing collection of the butterflies, humming birds, tropical flowers, and other birds. Recommend for everyone.

Being a Florida native I am naturally critical of local attractions, but my day at Butterfly World yesterday was expensive and very uncomfortable. Even with out 2 for 1 coupon it cost over $50 to get in with 2 adults and 2 little kids. It would have been $75 if we didn't have the coupon. I will say that when... More

Butterfly World is probably one of the most delightful places one can visit in Florida. Yes, there are beaches and swamps and gators and other such things as DisneyWorld and Sea World, but none of these come close to comparing with communing with nature like Butterfly World. Beauty unsurpassed! Only God and nature can create such beauty, simplicity, and delicate... More

What a wonderful place, so much to experience! It rained but we still enjoyed plenty of butterflies and birds. Very friendly staff. One of my favourite things was feeding the lorikeets, I will never forget that! Fun and happy place and we plan to visit again.

The music playing outside as you approach is sort of Disney World-ish. You feel like you are going to see Peter Pan and Tinker Bell fly by any moment. As you enter the Butterfly enclosure, you are immediately greeted by a flutter of hundreds of varieties of butterflies. It just makes you happy. You can't help but be happy in... More
