This was a pleasant surprise. I took my nieces and nephew ages 3, 4, and 5. They loved it. There are truly butterflies everywhere. All colors, they loved the blue ones. The have a misty area to walk through that the kids loved. Another pleasant surprise was the bird section. For a few dollars, there is bird food available and... More

The butterfly area is charming, but smaller than others I've seen. It's certainly packed with butterflies, and has lovely plantings. I actually went to this place because it's supposed to have hummingbirds in the aviary: their guidebook shows 7 different varieties. I walked slowly around the aviary and sat on the benches for half an hour, observing and waiting. I'm... More

This was not my first pick... I wanted to go for an airboat ride but the girls wanted to check out the Butterflies. It was a great choice. Very well laid out and relaxed tour with beautiful exotic flowers, birds and ofcourse butterflies. The kids especially enjoyed feeding the Lorikeets and sitting with the butterflies landing all over them. Give... More

Butterfly World is a fun way to spend a few hours. The enclosed butterfly pavilions were beautifully landscaped and filled with fluttering butterflies and hummingbirds. Make sure your camera has plenty of charge or extra batteries. The lorikeet enclosure was really cool, but bring some cash with you to buy the nectar Two things, they don't take all credit cards... There are many kinds of butterflies we can see at Butterfly world and they are really beautiful. There are a few points which I did not like - the music is too loud - butterflies fly around very nervously, is there to much wind? - my wife hat to let control her back sack as the management wanted to make... Butterly World was the highlight of my almost 3 year old's trip to the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area. She was thrilled when different butterflies decided to land on her finger, which made for great photo opportunities. The enclosed butterfly area is inhabited by all types of butterflies and lush tropical plants. The gardens are beautiful too. We also fed the lorikeets,... More

I brought my daughter and my "grandgirls" to visit these enchanting gardens. The girls ages 1 to 6 years old walked all through the facility with eyes in amazement. They were mesmerized with all the lovely butterflies flying all around them and it captured them as soon as they walked into the gardens. What a beautiful display of color and... More

The cost for adults and kids at the times was 26/21 roughly. They do have 25% military discount. There are several different area in the park. The first being the butterfly area. This area had a lot of different butterflies of all different color shapes and sizes. They also had a few birds in this area. Next area was of... More
