You've never seen anything like this. So serene and magical. Walk with 1000s of live butterflies and meet all kinds of tropical birds. You can even feed some from your hands. Would be great for kids of any age.

Peaceful, surprising, exciting, beautiful. Fun for all ages. Butterflies and plant varieties that you have never seen before. Worth the trip. Make sure you have a rental car if staying in Ft. Lauderdale. Cab will cost about $100RT.

My wife and I were so pleased that we visited Butterfly World. It is a very well run attraction that clearly delights kids, their parents, and grand parents like us. It is actually just about equal parts flowering tropical plants, birds and butterflies. All three are abundant and fascinating. Kids from toddlers to teenagers were transfixed by the clouds of... Beautiful and tranquil morning. The exhibits are well done and it is very organized. When you go you receive a map and basically do a loop so you don't miss anything. The parakeet exhibit is fun as you can buy these little cups with juice in them to feed to the parrots. The gift shop at the end is amazing.... More

This is a great place to spend 2-3 hours. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The butterfly exhibit is fantastic. The butterflies roam free and mingle with the people. Another butterfly exhibit we visited years ago had the butterflies enclosed in netting.

We did not know what to really expect with the varied reviews. Plan on taking time and being patient and it will pay off here. There are few places where you will observe so many butterflies at one time. We spent over an hour witnessing butterflies of all colors and sizes flutter around us ad were thrilled. I patiently waiting... More

Came here on a day trip with my 6 year old daughter, my mom and my daughter's friend and her mom. Butterfly World is actually inside Tradewinds Park and there are signs that guide you once you are inside the park. Parking is free. My daughter had received a coupon in school to get in free and I found a... More
