Wow! This place just totally exceeded my expectations from the minute we entered the welcome area. Once entering the aviary, you are immediately surrounded by thousands of brightly colored butterfly beauties. So many colors. So many varieties. It's just amazing! The staff are extremely friendly and courteous and answer most every question. A walkway through certain plants explain what butterfly... More

Visited the Butterfly World on Father's Day while on vacation with our daughter and grandson. The experience exceeded our expectations - very peaceful and well maintained. Interactive opportunities for young visitors And they offer military discounts.

Butterfly World is much more than what the name implies. It is extraordinarily beautiful with many ponds and other water features. Visitors, regardless of age, should make sure to stop by the lorikeet hut and pay a token $1 to hand feed these colorful birds, which go nuts the minute they see you hand over the fee, then leap onto... I thought this place was amazing. I am not a butterfly person but thought this exhibit was awesome! Although we had pondered this place or another one that was bigger, this was perfect. There were many tours going on and at 1100 AM it was a busy place, but a great educational place with some neat historical facts on the... More

You like butterflies? How about thousands of butterflies, plus cute little birds, plus tropical plants and sunshine? BUTTERFLY WORLD, yo! It may not have the splendor of a fancy top-dollar animal theme park, but it offers you a great multi-room experience. We used a flier to get a discount. Room 1 is set up like a garden courtyard, open to... More

The staff goes out of their way to see each person has a good experience. The butterflies were beautiful and abundant in numbers. They also have an aviary with a wide variety of colorful finches as well as an educational facility with plenty of examples of butterflies, bugs, etc. We fed beautiful little Lory birds and the attendant was kind... Millions of butterflies and education for the vids to see. We enjoyed feeding the lorikeets and also the bug museum was awesome. Our 15 mth old loved it although a little scared of the butterflies and birds. It was so worth going and a must see while there.

My wife and I enjoy coming here with family and friend that visit us. We always have a good time feeding the lorikeets. Most of the tine you can have 3 or 4 birds on your head, arms, or shoulders when feeding them nectar. We also take visitors to see the hummingbirds, and everyone has a good . There are... More
