Spent the afternoon wondering around this wonderful place. It was so beautiful from all the blooming flowers with hundreds of butterflies doing whatever butterflies do all around you. Plus all the colorful finches and small birds it is a photographers dream. Don't miss feeding the Lorikeets it's pretty awesome to have them sitting on your hands drinking out of the... More

My friend and I really enjoyed our visit to Butterfly World. Walking amongst such beauty is indescribable and truly an amazing experience. The lorakeets were entertaining. The bugs...well, ewww. I say that in jest only in that so many of them were jaw dropping and nightmare inducing :) Butterfly World was an engaging experience from start to finish. I did... More

We spent 4+ hours there while watching the butterflies, birds, and plants. If you love nature this place is for you. I cannot even begin to figure out how someone wouldn't like this place. It was so relaxing to take in the thousands of butterflies. Then we went on to the aviaries to look at all the birds. Definitely worth... More

When you have a five year old you visit a lot of butterfly houses (including 2 in museums in Chicago), but this one is my favorite! It's an exceptional collection in terrific surroundings (with colorful birds, like owl finches, too) . . . and with their full color guide, it's like a giant scavenger hunt (to check off varieties). The... More

Well worth the drive. A beautiful indoor sanctuary to st old through with birds and butterflies. A separate aviary for very friendly lorikeets which you can hand feed. Macaws and other birds too. The educational lab is wonderful and you can buy chrysalis to take home and watch hatch, then release (highly recommend, with or without kids)! If you plan... More

We had seen this reviewed very well so we wanted to check it out when we were in town. They have a pretty remarkable butterfly house that was filled with many unusual, and colorful, butterflies.

Organize, we'll kept. Besides the entrance tickets you have to pay 5 dollars for parking. You can see the place relax in 2 hours.

We've taken guests there many times, one nature-lover said she'd have come to Florida just to see this and would like to go again. Exotic butterflies from South American and elsewhere are raised here. There's a problem for older people who have balance problems; they spray the vegetation with hoses regularly and it's slippery in places, though these are marked... More

What an incredibly peaceful and beautiful activity .... It is a little pricey but there is truly nothing like it! The birds and butterflies are truly majestic!

Butterfly world has tons of butterflies and caterpillars, it also has beautiful flowers and feedible parikeets. For people who like scary dangerous bugs they have live scary creatures
