Got up close and personal with multiple manatees. Tim is an excellent and knowledgable guide. Definitely recommend him.

Kayaking with Fin Expeditions was a lot of fun! This was my first experience with Kayaking but I found it to be easy, fun, and relaxing. The guide was very patient with us "newbies" and took time to explain everything in detail. He was very courteous about offering cold water and insect spray as needed. We were very fortunate to... Had a great time. Tim is a careful and knowledgeable guide and his equipment (kayaks, paddles, life vests, etc) is first rate. Don't worry if you have never kayaked before. Tim will make sure you are comfortable before you ever get into the water. Having rented kayaks before, I was concerned about having to paddle a single, but Tim's boats... More

After reading the other reviews decided to make reservations with Tim and he certainly lived up to our expectations! From promptly returning our phone calls to his patience with our lack of skill and let's not forget his wonderful sense of humor :) thanks Tim for a wonderful and memorable time!

Did this with my 9 year old daughter. We both loved it. I did most of the rowing, and it was fine. He did give my daughter her own paddle though, in case she wanted to help. So, I could tell when she really wanted to see something because she would start paddling (not always helpful lol). Our first time... More

Excellent experience and well worth the money. We paddled through the canal and saw a number of manatee. Although a couple were shy, one was very social and everybody in the group was able to get a close look at it. We saw of birds and a rabbit that jumped into the water. The mangroves were beautiful. My son is... More

We had been snorkeling some time ago near manatees at Crystal River, which was great. Here the discovery goes through the mangrove with a canoe: you get to travel in a small group through small and larger water areas, sometimes even under the trees, on curvy streams. Tim was speaking all the time about the birds, the trees, the water,... More

Simply one of the most incredible experiences that my girlfriend and I have ever had! Tim lead us through the mangroves with skill and ease, pointing out different wildlife as we went. We encountered manatees on multiple occasions, including a magical sighting of a mother with her two calves, and an unbelievable close-up encounter with a very friendly manatee! Tim... More

I made an account just to review Tim @ Fin Expeditions. My SO and I were stopped at Port Canaveral on our 7-day Bahamas cruise with NCL. We wanted to do something more active rather than lay on the beach (that's what the Bahamas was for!) and read up on kayaking on Cocoa Beach. Fin Expeditions was the #1 attraction... More

My husband was a little hesitant but I made him go- we both had an AMAZING time!! Tim is so knowledgable about everything out there. His assistant Kaylen was fantastic as well. Tim worked so hard to find a manatee for us. We ended up seeing a mama with two little ones- It was unbelievable. We will absolutely come back... More
