Wow! If you have kids in tow, or you are a paleontologist wannabe, you have to see this place. Great for unique and rare gifts, I spent two hours before I knew it and that was just looking around. At times I wished that I had had a docent to help me with details about certain items, but the busy... More

My 7 year old and I really enjoyed this store/museum. We spent about an hour looking around and if we lived closer we would go back a couple times a month I am sure. Prices were reasonable and we picked up a couple cool things. Lots of great fossil/rock/petrified wood specimens. Good educational kits. Nice bathroom facilities. Friendly employees. The... More

A great place for your kids to see and learn some things in the process. Very unique and a large store based on Dinosaurs and other creatures.

The store had great things to see but don't waste your money on the adventure part. It's not worth it. The gem mining bag is about the size of a snack size baggie. The reptile room smelled horrible. The games were junk, if they even worked.

The shop has incredible fossils and stones for sale. Would be a very unique shop anywhere. We stop by every time we're in town. Prices are reasonable and range from a dollar or two to thousands. Great place to take the kids.

I'm glad I read the reviews for this place AFTER we decided to visit. The shop was interesting although not much of what it sold was really that appealing to us. Particularly liked the 'meteorite cabinet'. The Adventure Zone though was a great bargain and very enjoyable both for us adults and our two kids. Once inside all of the... More

We expected to see dinosours but all we saw was a gift and novelty shop. I would not recommend this place.

My kids were really excited to see the Dinosaur Store so we rounded them up one rainy afternoon to go and check it out. After paying the entrance fee for the 'adventure zone' portion of the store we realized we'd made a mistake. There is nothing worth stopping for if you're looking for some hands on fun. Most things in... More

The main store was very nice but the kid play area was small and not fun for the kids. The reptiles were kept mostly in cramped tanks. Definitely not worth the price.
