I was standing on my first wave! By the end of the hour we were hooked. Even if you are nervous about surfing this is the place to go! Lauren instructed my husband and I, (he had experience and me almost none) and the teaching was thorough, clear and seemed like 'of course'. Any nerves were wiped out with Lauren's... More

Had a private lesson with Lauren and it was AWESOME! She helped me understand the basics before we ever got in the water so I felt really confident even though it was my 1st time really even trying to surf. Despite that Lauren taught me to stand up on my 1st wave! I learned a lot and had a blast,... More

What we were looking for: fun, personal, professional instruction from a small surf school. We didn't want to feel like a number or be part of a huge party of strangers. What we got: Fun, personal, professional instruction that resulted in us being able to SURF! Todd and Lauren love their job and it shows. We were never nervous because... More

Todd and Lauren are by far the best surf instructors I have encountered in several beaches and two coasts. They not only teach, but coach. With School of Surf, you not only "catch a wave" but learn what to look for in a wave, what your surf style is and how to work on technique if you are landlocked and... More

My wife and I were just a few days in Orlando on our honeymoon and we took the trip to Cocoa Beach to try surfing for the first time... Todd and Lauren gave us a great experience with great introductions and training before taking it to the beach... and although December waters were somewhat cool by 'Floridian standards', the wetsuits... School of Surf is not only outstanding but one of the best places to learn how to surf! Todd Holland and Lauren are awesome at surfing and it shows with their teaching skills. With their knowledge on and off the board, they will help you become a surfer...it doesn't matter if you are a novice or advance...young or old. It... More

School of Surf is an outstanding place to learn surfing. Todd Holland has a wonderful way with a variety of skill levels. His knowledge of surfing and his delivery of his teaching is second to non. I recommend his School of Surf for children and adults, whether beginner or advanced.

My wife and I decided to learn to surf for her 50th birthday. We initially were looking for a full day 'camp' style instruction but after talking with School of Surf settled for a single hour 'shared' morning lesson for three straight days. It was a good decision for us. We ended up with Lauren the first two mornings and... More

I have been to other surf shops and School of Surf, by far, has the best instructors. Not only do you get personal attention with instructors that really want to make you a great surfer, but they are world class surfers themselves. I have so much fun and learn so much from School of Surf. I rarely give out 5... More

My sister and I had a two hour surfing lesson with school of surf. We had an awesome time! Speedy was our instructor. He was a great teacher and so much fun to learn from. We felt like it was a very personal experience. Highly recommend school of surf!
