We walked the trail with our 4 year old and 18 month old (in a hiking backpack). It was a short walk. We just saw a few birds but not much else. A very casual walk - you don't even need tennis shoes. Just OK.

Make sure you visit this lovely little park. This is what Cocoa Beach was like before they built the condos. These is a boardwalk that goes through dense vegetation which includes live oaks, palms, ferns, and lots of other plants. The park also has beach access. Bring your kids and family.

This park offers a break in the line of condos which face this section of the Florida coast. It offers free parking, drinking water, showers, restrooms. A must if you stay in Cocoa Beach!

A great little park for going to the beach. There is no charge; there are restrooms; and, water to wash off the sea salt.

This is not the kind of park that you'll reflect back on when you are old and grey. You won't tell your grandchildren that you wish you could go here "just one more time". They probably won't scatter your ashes here. But it's not a bad little park -- you can get showered off after you ocean it up. Free... More

Easy to find, ample parking, restrooms and lifeguards -- good pick for a day beach trip! We drove from Orlando and it was about an hour drive. Would definitely go again.

We spent an afternoon at Lori Wilson Park on a recent florida vacation and it was overall a very nice spot. You can't beat the fact that there is plentiful free parking, a bathroom, and showers. With that said, the bathroom was a bit gross in the late afternoon and the showers had almost zero water pressure. The beach itself... More

Turn onto I Dream of Genie street and it takes you to the free parking lot of the best beach in the area. This is probably the closest beach to the Disney Parks. The beach has whiter, cleaner, more refined sand and it is a wide flat beach with a long shallow entrance to the water. Long board walks down... More
