A great location and wonderful beach. Would recommend a visit in the spring when it's not too hot. Lots of places to shower off and reasonably priced loungers on site.

After researching family-friendly beaches in the Cocoa Beach area I found the beach access at Lori Wilson Park. My family of four visited here the Wednesday before Easter and we were not disappointed. There are decent restrooms and showers and a nice boardwalk with free access to the beach. There is a lifeguard station right here as well. We tried... More

We stopped to see surfing at the Easter Surf Festival, but were disappointed in what appear to us as lack of organization of the event, at least to visitors. We could not tell what event was going on and who the competitors were. It was difficult to hear the few announcements. The beach was crowded, but seemed like a very... More

This park is a perfect place to park at Cocoa Beach. It's got a short walk to the beach, bathroom facilities, and there were vendors selling all kinds of things at the park. It was peak season, so I don't know if the vendors are a year round thing. Get there early, as the spaces for parking fill up fast.

Being the closest beach to where my family lives, we decide to go to this beach. The beach itself was average, but what set it apart from other beaches that I have visited is that there is a path that is located in the woods which showed basically what Florida was like before explorers. If you are in the Orlando... More

We were in the area and decided to check out the Surf Festival. It's located south of the Cocoa Beach Pier and Ron Jon Surf Shop. Parking for the day was $10 and there were plenty of spots with easy access to the beach. We were there early Friday morning so we had a great location on the beach, near... More

Wow! If you are going to Cocoa Beach, this is a great beach! There is no fee for parking, ok restrooms and a short walk to the beach. Don't bother with bringing chairs and an umbrella-you can rent them. We got two chairs and an umbrella for $20. Definitely money well spent. Just look for the "Open" flag. We also... More

This does the job if you want to visit the beach. Free parking all day. Nice park. What more could you ask for? Literally a 2 minute walk to the surf.

This park is very nice! It had free parking and a boardwalk to the ocean. Noticed a small enclosed dog park out near the main road that many people were using with their pets.
