One of the best Christmas light shows in the area which is free. The lights work with music to make a very enjoyable time viewing the lights and listening to the music that is coordinated. A good place to spend a little time. In addition you can go up the tower and view as many as six counties in the... More

My family and I were in the area checking out some local attractions taking a break from the Orlando theme parks. For those not familiar, to quote from their website: "The Citrus Tower stands unrivaled as a majestic and monumental tribute to Central Florida’s famed citrus industry and its lush subtropical groves. With the area’s changing economic climate, the Tower... More

We passed through clermont on the way to Mount Dora so stopped at the citrus tower. It is a piece of history and a lot of interesting information and facts about the tower. It was $6 to visit, the lady in the shop was really friendly and took time out to show us all the interesting pic's and historical information.... More

The tower was initially built to view large citrus groves. The groves are no longer there. The views from the top of the tower are still spectacular.

My sister got married at the Valencia Room on the bottom floor of the Citrus Tower. It's a separate business that just rents out space in the building. Well my sister wanted to go up to the top of the tower to have pictures taken. When we got up there (only 4 people could go in the elevator at a... More

We take all guest to the Citrus Tower. it's an inexpensive way to see the beautiful area with its hills and lakes. The gift shop is nicely decorated and it it through the gift shop that you pay and enter the elevator to the top of the Tower. The history of the tower is outside of the gift shop.

My uncle moved to Clermont long before Disney descended. He first took us to the Citrus Tower in the '50s when it was a state of the art tourist site. It was surrounded by orange groves which cooler weather have frozen out largely now. It occupies "high" ground (remember that this is flat Florida) and stands 225 feet tall. You... More

On a clear day, you can see forever! A minimal fee allows you to ride the elevator to the top. Posted signs told you where different attractions or locations were. Interesting historical information about the demise of the citrus industry in Central Florida.
