Really! This was recommended by a relative who has played it often so we have made a special trip 2 or 3 times because of the challenge and the views outside plus the good, affordable food and nice service inside! And, again, a long lake view. Don't whine about the giant sand traps, hills and ravines-- it's a CHALLENGE!!! A... More

I guess you get what you pay for and believe me, this was not worth $19.95! Elevations are interesting and that's it. This was golf in a Pasture. Not at all pretty. Poor course upkeep! - (What upkeep?) Our 'gas' golf cart DIED. By the way it was ridiculously noisy and a piece of junk. It was 5:00 on the... More

Almost has the feel that it was once a private club. Very hilly with interesting concepts of hole design. Just go out and play it for laughs as some of the quirkiness will get to you if you don't. For the rate with cart, decent fairways, smooth greens, lots of traps, forced carries ... What's to complain about.

Sanctuary Ridge is a very unusual golf course in Florida and mainly because of the typography. There are many rolling hills with elevated greens and tee boxes. The course is a little quirky and has some unique challenges but an excellent must play golf course.

Sanctuary Ridge was a challenging 18 holes of golf with a non stop roller coaster of elevation changes, something you rarely find in Florida. The course was in good shape, the staff was friendly and the price was right for November golf. It was our initial visit to the Ridge and will definitely be back.

This course has been around for several years and gone through a change in ownership. The rough can be challenging in places, but the fairways and greens are excellent. It is a major alternative to the typical Central Florida golf courses and has significant elevation changes and side hill lies. It is reasonably priced and a treat to play.

Not your typical Florida golf course with plenty of changes in elevation, however a lot of the ups and downs are a bit too extreme with some holes needing you to drive your cart down to the fairway and back to see where you're going. Greens were slow and course a bit scruffy off the fairways. However, welcome was warm... More

My friend and I played the course on September 16, 2014. The staff was friendly. The layout is challenging. The greens were recently plugged and slow. We will return, because this place is worth giving it another shot. If you enjoy the game and a challenge, then this place is for you. If you're a golf snob and want Augusta... More
