My first visit to Lake Louisa and I am stunned by the beauty of this park. It's much larger than I thought it would be. Nicely paved roads with bike lanes. Hills, curves, and amazing scenery. Tons of hiking trails through all natural, Florida terrain. While walking the nature trail closest to Lake Louisa, a deer jumped out right in... More

As an alternative to a standard hotel, I like to stay in state park cabins sometimes; three of us stayed in cabin #12 for just one night. I was surprised that the lake was further from the cabin than I thought it would be, my daughter walked down the path toward the lake but didn't go further than the hiking... More

We were in a site right next to the comfort station very clean. Our trailer backed up to a field of wild flowers the butterflies and dragonflies were amazing. We enjoyed taking a ride each evening just before sunset and were able to see several deer and hawks. We will go back!!

Spent the weekend here with several other friends. Campsites we're clean , level and fairly good in size. Bathrooms, showers and laundry area were very clean and well cared for. Campsite host were very nice. Not much to do here unless you fish or canoe but lots of stuff within a 10-15 minute drive. Will go back again when we... More

Only $4 to get in and the scenery and lakes are stunning. Nice to get away from Disney etc and see the real Florida. Worth a visit if you're ever in town.

Wonderful campground. Pretty lakes for canoeing and fishing. Lake Louisa for swimming. Quiet. Friendly campers. The cabins looked like nice places for non-campers to go for a quiet getaway.

Just stayed 2 nights on Cabin 6. The view of Lake Dixie is great, the cabin is so spacious, clean and well equipped. The grounds are well maintained. Don't forget soap for bathroom sinks and dishwashing liquid. We rented bikes, hiked and enjoyed the beach area. Nature Fest was quite a treat for our kids .
