You can do it all at Lake Louisa State Park, we were there just as the sun was setting and the views were awesome. A large group of bikers had just completed their run and were leaving. We drove through the park and stopped to overlook the lake. It's peaceful and beautiful, a great get away to meditate and be... More

This state park is the largest in Lake county, Just 20 minutes drive north and west from the theme park madness of Disney world. If you are looking to get away from people for a afternoon or weekend it is well worth the visit. $5 to enter the park for the day. Over 10 miles of well marked hiking trails... More

Beautiful hills and trails strikingly different than the theme parks. Better to visit in spring and fall, it was a bit too hot in summer.

We decided to see what this state park had to offer since we recently moved to the Orlando area. There are hiking trails but they are not marked very well. The scenery driving through the park is beautiful. But we didn't see any wildlife, not even one bird. The cabins that are for rent looked very nice with a great... More

Beautiful walking trails (and a boardwalk) and a nice sandy beach. A great place to spend a hot summer day. Very nice clean facilities. Calm and relaxing, with plenty of shade available. This is one of my favorite state parks.

This is a really pretty park. Lots of things to do like walking trails, boating, fishing etc. we came with a group of women for a get away weekend. We stayed in the cabins which are very nice. My only comment about the cabins is they really are not good for 6 adults as its a little tight. Great place... More

The cabins are rather expensive, but if you want to get back to nature with your family, this is the place to be. There are also some primitive campsites available, but they are a long hike. I haven't tried one of them. If you want nature for a reasonable park entry fee, this is your place to be.

For only a $5 dollar entrance fee, this park was good for filling some spare time during a Saturday in May. The walking trails were not obvious, at least where we were. Even with the supplied map it didn’t work out too well. However, once we found the lake, it was all worthwhile. This was a nice quiet place with... More
