My wife and I decided to spend our 25th anniversary "off of the beaten path". And so we booked three nights in one of the cabins on site. As with all of my reviews I will present the Pros, the Cons, and a Summary. Pros: The location is quiet and peaceful. The cabin was large and spacious. The fireplace was... More

4,500 acre park. Great for long nature walks. Good landscapes, lakes, hills, fishing and cabins. Park would be good for anyone or any size family. There are admission, camping and cabin fees. Park is open 8:00 a.m. Until sundown 365 days a year.

My wife and I visited Lake Louisa State Park a couple times, and we hiked most of the trails in the northeast portion of the park. The landscape was stunning characterized by hills, lakes, and forests! It was a nice break from the mostly flat land of central Florida. We saw gopher tortoises and many birds. The trails were well... More

This is a great park full of wildlife and beauty and for only $5 a carload you can't beat the price The hiking trails are extensive and well maintained, don't make the mistake of forgetting your trail map. The only improvement i can see they need listed is how many hours/minutes each trail is expected to take. At point I... More

We visited the park last week for hiking. Loved the different trails so much that we will be camping there in our RV in a few weeks. The camp sites and facilities look good.

What a lovely spot. For $5.00 a car load of visitors get to walk and enjoy the outdoors. We took a picnic lunch and ate beside the Lake. There are many picnic tables and clean restrooms to use. There are many walking trails that are well marked. The trails are firm sand and level, great for older folks or pushing... More

Lake Louisa is a hidden gem! We could not have asked for a better place to stay! The cabins were clean and comfortable. Make sure you bring paper goods with you, as they only provide toilet paper and trash bags. The cabs are equipped with dishwashers and they have dishwashing tabs, but if you want to wash by hand be... More

This is a destination not to be passed up while vacationing in the Orlando area. Breath taking views of nature. Also a must is staying a couple nights in one of their awesome cabins with lake side views. It's a great wind down from the hustle and bustle of all the tourist areas and amusement parks. We booked the last... More

We visit here on a regular basis when were are in town. There is loads of space and you can be as near or as far away from others as you wish. A nice little beach, and plenty of trails. If you are a geocacher like us, there is plenty to find here as well.
