My Dad and I used to ride our bikes around Lake Louisa and do some walks. We really enjoyed it. It's a nice day out. Easy to find and cheap to get in. Next time, we are going to take our horses as you are allowed to trailer them out there. You can tether them up in a nice shaded... More

My husband and I love to camp at Lake Louisa, they accommodate big rigs. They have a big private space in every site. A canoe that you can rent. They have a nice hike trail. If you are a senior or resident of Florida you are entitled for a 50% discount. The only thing, it's hard to reserve for a... More

Nice trails! Park was clean, They have cabins you can rent that overlook the lake with campfire rings and picnic tables. Views are really stunning! Very hilly and I believe 6 lakes in the park. RV and tent sites as well. $5 a car to get in (up to 8 people) Great way to get outside with the family!

We dropped by here one day in march with my husband and little son! we were just expecting a small lake and park, however the place is vast and there is loads to do. You can fish, have a BBQ, go horse riding and even stay in the cabins. My son loved paddling in the water and we enjoyed our... More

We stayed at Lake Lousia State Park in Clermont, FL at the family campsite for a night. We only live 3 hrs away but wanted to try camping for the night. The campsite is shared with RVs and people who have cars and want to pitch a tent. They had an electrical hook up, a water pipe and a fire... More

We spent a day wandering around this park enjoying the vegetation and wildlife. The trails around Lake Louisa are particularly beautiful with all the cypress knees lining the wandering stream. There were lots of Gopher Tortoises digging nests along the side of the roads. We also saw deer and wild turkeys. I look forward to visiting this park again.

We usually visit like once a month. We try and do at least one of the nature trails and then go have a picnic by the canoe docks. Sometimes we take some stuff to grill for lunch other times we bring sandwiches. There is fishing, hiking, biking, horseback trails, and even a little beach there. Tons to do with the... More

Nice place to camp. Centrally located near towns, but still gives you the feeling of being out in the "boonies". Nice lakes to kayak/canoe on. Well kept park, nice docks on the smaller lakes and a man made beach on Lake Louisa. We have a trailer for camping, but cabins are available with a nice view of lake. Will return!!
