Lakeridge Winery has events throughout the year. I especially enjoy bluegrass music on the grounds. The musicians are usually pretty good and the winery has food, wine tours and tastings. There are craft fairs there, too. This is a good place to go with friends and folks visiting the area. The wine doesn't suit my palate. Florida is pretty limited... More

The tour is a 10-15 minute video about the starting of Lakerisge Winery and the family, followed by a tour through the fermenting and bottling area, then on to a view of the grape fields from a 2nd story covered patio, then on to the taste testing.. About 30 minutes total for the tour. Well worth it.. I buy wine... More

A friend and I had a girl's day last week. Lunch at Olive Garden, some shopping and then here, for our planned destination. The brief movie was very informative and the tour was wonderful. The wine tasting was very nice, but I wish they offered crackers in between each wine. The pink crescendo (sparkling champenoise), southern white and southern red... More

Lakeridge is located about 45 minutes from Orlando and worth the drive. The winery is located overlooking the vineyards and rolling hills. The wines tend to be on the sweet side, which is what we like, but they also have a few dry whites and reds. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They hold some great festivals throughout the... We went to this festival and had a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful and a lot of the wines are to our taste. The people are very nice here and we got a ride from our car through the grounds to the venue. All well planned out. Had lunch and took the tour. The weather was perfect for this... More

With that said.....the wine isn't very good. It is from muscadine grapes which have a very musty taste. People who like a very sweet wine may enjoy it, but for the wine connoisseur, you should skip this one.

I didn't take the tour/watch the film because I have a bad back and couldn't climb the stairs. (I don't know if there was an elevator). However, in a matter of minutes, I was able to join the wine tasting, mostly made with muscadine grapes. I enjoyed them immensely and purchased 2 bottles of wine and 2 bottles of champagne.... More

We arrived and was told a tour was just starting and we could join them. Our tour guide was I believe Shep. He was one of the best guides we have ever seen. He was informative and kept the group paying attention with his personality. After the tour they had a wine tasting of many different wines. More then we... More
