Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards opened its doors in February 1989 in Clermont, Florida and sits on a 127-acre estate in gently rolling countryside some 25 miles west of downtown Orlando. The tour provided a great deal of information about how the winery operates. It wasn't too long, and the tour guide was able to answer any of the questions presented by the group. Then the wine tasting was set up very nicely. Getting 10 different options to try for free in order to know what type/kind to buy and also... More

We enjoyed taking the tour at Lakeridge Winery. The guide was knowledgeable and answered all questions asked. At the end of the tour, there was a wine tasting which is always fun. Most of the grapes used here are muscadine grapes, so the wines are sweeter - even the "dryer" ones. Fun time.

My wife and I recently moved to the Clermont area from Virginia and have been waiting for family to visit so we could tour this place. We have been enjoying the Lakeridge wines (Southern White is our favorite) for the past 5 months and had to see this place to compare with our previous visit to a Virginia Winery. After... More

It was a lovely place. The cost of bottles of wine are not very high! We bought 4 bottles there. It's a nice tour, delicious free wine tasting. Lots of other things to purchase there too.

This is beautiful winery. The tour is interesting and the tasting is generous and fun. We enjoyed our visit, we just wished they had some food. At least a cheese tray or something would have been nice. Also maybe some grape juice for non tasters so they can enjoy the experience .

We took a tour of the winery in March during the time the vineyards are dormant but the views are beautiful to the lake with the starkness from the vines. The lady (Asian) had a great vibrant and funny personality that gave the tour. We saw a short film of the production of the winery and toured the top of... More

This is a must if you are in the area. This is what great marketing looks like, you are given a free tour of the winery, as well a basic lesson on wine making process. The fun part is the wine tasting, where you have the option to taste approximately 9 different types of wine, while marking your selection on... More

If you are reading this, GET TO THE WINERY! I cannot say enough about this experience. The staff are top notch! Kudos to our guide, Doug. The tour started with a short but interesting video about the business, followed by a balcony view of the vineyard and then a walk by some machinery. Of course, they save the best for... More

You get a free guided tour or the wine making facility including a video. At the end of the tour is free wine tasting with information about each of the wines. They offer discounts for purchases. Sounds like they have a special event near the end of each month. If I were going to be in the area when those... More
