Come visit our Waterfront 18 Hole Championship Golf Course & Bayview Pub & Grill Cove Cay Golf Club is a USGA rated, 18 hole championship length golf course located on Tampa Bay. Built by architect David Stewart, this challenging layout places a premium on accuracy with water coming into play on 12 of our 18 holes. Spectacular views and an abundance of wildlife make Cove Cay a golf course that you won't want to miss! An 18 hole round rarely takes over 4 hours to complete, making for an exceptional golf experience. With 4 sets of tees, Cove Cay has a yardage to suit every player. Golfers can choose their length, from 4,216 yards to 6,079 yards at our longest tee, from a beginner to low handicapper, we have a challenge for you! Our signature hole is the 17th. This par 5 runs along Tampa Bay with a spectacular view and a challenging shot into a small peninsula green. Accuracy is a must on this approach with any wayward shot sure to find the water. Cove Cay golfers and guests may also enjoy fantastic waterfront dining at our Bayview Pub & Grill. We offer a great variety with everything from Fred's Famous Chicken Wings and Coleslaw to fresh salads and juicy burgers. Our dinner entrees offer something for every taste, so stop in and enjoy some great food with a great view!

Cove Cay is a great place to play golf! This course is so much fun to play & has beautiful views of the Tampa Bay. Everybody that works at the course are friendly and very helpful. After a great day of golf with my friends, we had dinner and the Bayview pub & grill. It was a fantastic day. Cove... More

Must play for all those snow birds or anyone in the Clearwater area. As you might know by now, the new owners Bill & Pat Shriver have done a great job of restoring the golf course and also redoing the lounge and banquet halls. If you had played a year ago, there is know doubt that the course was in... More

Had a great time at Cove Cay ! It has challenging holes with a lot of water! It's a "shotmakers" course! Lots of fun, good price, excellent food and restaurant is on the Bay. Scenic Tampa Bay views along the back nine.

This place is a complete dump, steer clear. For $30 they charge, you can play a much nicer course in the area. The whole course is overgrown with weeds. There is trash along the tee boxes. Many of the tee boxes have been relocated to the rough area behind the tee box or on the fair way because the tee... More

Very sad to see this former gem in such bad shape. Greens were bad and had been punched and sanded, but we were not informed of this when we made our tee times. When you are paying $35 you expect much better than this in Florida in the offseason. Slow group in front of us made our round take forever.... More

Sounds like a short course but don't be fooled this can be a challenging course. Greens néed a little help, but all in all nicely kept. Very friendly staff and beautiful views! Definitely recommend for pleasant and relaxing day of golf.

I have been playing golf for 30 years and played my share of courses that were not in the best of shape. This course was the absolute worst! The fairways were ragged and weedy. The greens were barren with only a few spots of grass making them hard as rock. There was no starter or ranger to move play along.... More

Cove Cay is under new management however we did not notice anything special. We did not stay in the area just went to play a round. My wife liked the layout and location of the women's tees. It was Feb. so conditions were okay. It affords some beautiful views. The staff were great with us.The starter very friendly and as... More

We are staying here in a friends unit for a few weeks. It is a beautiful gated golfing community with Tampa Bay along it's eastern border. The grounds are very well kept. They are constantly raking, clipping, mowing, or painting. The very slow automobile traffic makes it easy to take a scenic walk or bicycle ride. I'm not golfer, but... More
