Greens were brown and dry but most rolled true. Beautiful views of Tampa Bay made it enjoyable. Range was closed at 11:00 on saturday due to group lessons which was upsetting. I need range work before I play so bad first impression. At the 8th we tried calling in some lunch but the snack shop didn't answer. We went in... More

The new owners of Cove Cay Club really know how to make everyone feel at home. The course has never looked better, the food and service in the club restaurant has almost done a 180 change. Really looking forward to everything else they will do!

My wife and I recently played Cove Cay Country Club during a visit to the Tampa Bay Area. We chose Cove Cay because they offer free green fees during the birthday week of their Eclub members. Since my wife and my birthday fall within the same week, we were able to play for the price of the cart ($40). First... More

Good layout, with moderate length. Challenging first nine holes in fog on my recent visit. Good value.

Played here in September. This was once one of my favorite courses, but now it is in terrible shape. The fairways are only a little bit better than a cow pasture - there are no patties. The whole place including the buildings appear to be in decline. Even the low green fees could not compensate for the terrible condition of... More

Though with the neverending construction on US 19, we finally found the entrance to the condos and golf course. We got directions from the friendly entry guard to the marina, but once there the place to check in for the kayak rental was tough to find with no signs. Luckily we were late and spotted our group waiting for us! The... More

Just finished a round there today. Greens are a joke. Fairways are almost acceptable, but the greenside rough is a disaster. Good luck chipping from the dirt and sand for those of you that don't hit greens all of the time. Tee boxes are also horrendous. I payed $25 for a discounted summer round and I feel very ripped off.... More

The layout of this course is very encouraging and picturesque landscapes make for great sight lines. However, this course has deteriorated along with the condos in this community. Greens were unputtable and fairways looked terrible. Not worth the $20 we paid for the round. Better courses and value in the area. Overall, besides the friendly staff, worst course I've played... I think it is very unfortunate that a golf course that is in such a beautiful area is in such bad shape. The staff is very friendly so that is a plus but do not feel the course is in a $50 a round shape. Yes, the green fees drop during the summer drop but it should be in better... More
