$8 to fish off the pier and even a fee to watch! Not visitor friendly. Lots of stands selling high priced souvenirs on the approach to the fee section. Avoid.

On a windy day we walked along the beach and up onto pier 60 which is very clean and is what it is a Pier. We enjoyed our stroll very much, the views are fabulous,we didn't watch the sunset with the crowds later on.

Beautiful beach, absolutely wonderfully maintained with street performers each evening from right before to right after sunset! A must-do if you are in the area!

White sand beach with Pier 60 jetting out in the water. Beautiful and clean beaches. Outdoor movies and vendors selling their wares at night, check out signs and info at the pier. Drive along Gulf Blvd and enjoy the drive. The only disadvantage with this location is it will cost you to park. Must see!

The Pier separates south and north beach. Views of the beach are fantastic. Want to walk to the end of the pier for the best views of the Gulf or for fishing? That will cost you $1/person. There's a little sundries shop at the start of the Pier if you're in need of a bottled water, ice cream cone etc.... More

We love Pier 60. If you go early evening/late afternoon, there is fun entertainment (magicians, dancers, acrobats, comedy, etc). We really enjoy the shows. It is also fun to walk up & down the pier & look at all of the vendor kiosks. There are unique & fun things to buy.

Walking the pier was ok, good views but very windy and chilly that day. They were preparing for a triathlon so a lot of barriers and stuff around. Parking is an issue, the city makes a lot of money with parking.

We went on a very windy afternoon. Parked closed by and walked around for a bit. It's a place to enjoy people watching, birds and just enjoy some outdoor time. You can watch the sunset and buy crafts from local artisans.

There are numerous artists that sell the wares on the pier most evenings. Lots to choose from from jewelry to photos, paintings, leather things and a glassmaker making unique one of a kind pieces. Plus the sunset from the pier is wonderful. There is playground equipment for the kinds live or taped music, food and drink at the park.

Very little to see or do on the two nights we visited. It might have been the wrong time of year or wrong days of the week, I found our visit very underwhelming.
