Sunset visit

Great place to watch a sunset, also got to see a pirate ship, it does cost $1 to go to the end of the pier, and parking is tough to find.

Nice looking pier, sadly lined w cheap retail stands along both sides taking away any character. You can be sure to be nickel-and-dimes in this "cheap" beach destination. You pay extra to go to the very end - seriously? If it would not be as crowded as it was - maybe - so just adding to the bad taste about... More

This is a long pier out into the Gulf of Mexico. A lot of people visit just to view all the sun bathers. Others come to try their hand at fishing, and a night there are often many vendors set up on the pier selling lots of cool one of a kind items. Night time also offers a lot of... More

We went at the end of the day to let the kids find goodies to buy from the vendors....there was a wonderful collection of vendors and we were all able to find goodies we could afford. There was also entertainers galore to please the crowd....that being the only downfall....it was very very crowded....would not recommend taking little ones much after... More

Wife and I spent at least one hour each night on the Pier. Good views of the Gulf as well as the beach. Actually saw a manatee surface next to two girls standing in the surf about 20 yards from the beach. Pretty cool.

Tourists love this. It is a popular place to take pictures in all directions. Want to walk to the very end? The last few hundred feet of the Pier are reserved for those who want to pay a dollar. What's up with that? Walk out as far as you want. The views are awesome.

fun place to be at night - arts and crafts to look at, people watch, listening to live bands from over at the tent, can be crowded. we were there on a saturday evening and they even had fireworks. easily walk to from the hotels. we did not go out past the point where you had to pay a fee.

We love pier 60 !!! Captures the true picturesque views of the Gulf and the Clearwater locals !!! We just didn't like how much it is to park and walked to the pier !! Everything else was amazing !!
