I thought it was going to be something extraordinary but it wasn´t as I expected .... maybe the time of the year. Nevertheless there are so many things to do close by that it didn´t matter that much.

The sunset was really romantic. me and my wife took many nice snaps. also saw many different kinds of birds. You will see some loco shops in to the pier 60. If you like to collect show pieces for your leaving room then you should get it. After sunset we enjoyed the show. after that we went to Surf style... More

The pier is nice! To go out to the end of the pier it does cost $1 a person and we are cheap. So we didn't spend the money to go out to the end of it. You can walk out about 1/2 before being charged They have vendors and live entertainment every night from 4-8p.m. There are tons of... More

We walked along Pier 60 thinking it would have a restaurant or somewhere to 'go' to. We reached a dingy little shop and to go past that point one needed to pay a fee. As there was nothing further on we decided to turn back to the Beachwalk. I understand people go fishing there, but apart from a few nicely... More

A great pier to visit and view the beautiful sunset! There is a rest room in the shop at the end - but beware it is dingy and the place is filthy - has nothing to do with the beach or town as I think it's privately owned. The pier is in great condition and very romantic - just avoid... More

Pier 60 is fun. The vendors are ok, the street performers are entertaining. Everyone is having a good time. The light seems very special, best sunsets. The Pier is free but there is a charge to go to the very end. You can easily enjoy the sunset from any part of the pier.

We visited in December and there weren't many musicians or artists out and about. The pier itself was nice to go on and watch the sunset.

The town markets the Pier 60 as a main attraction - it is a short wooden pier for which they charge $1 to walk from the halfway point to the end. Many other areas, both within the gulfcoast and other areas, offer much longer and more interesting piers without charge. It's just a short pier.
