Clean white sand beach

Beautiful clean beach. One of the nicest in the area to visit. Great place to hold a wedding. Doesn't get overcrowded and parking is good.

It is not nearly as clean as Clearwater Beach and the sand is much more soft and fine at Clearwater. I do frequent this beach because it is more relaxing and simpler than other beaches, but... More

Sand Key is a barrier island convenient to the Clearwater Beach area (Just over 1 bridge). It is not as busy or crowded as CB, but has beautiful white sugar sand beaches and plenty of room to roam. Take a relaxing stroll on the beach, or enjoy limited shelling in the mornings.

Sand Key park is just south of Clearwater Beach. This is a state park which has the same type of beach as Clearwater Beach but with out the crowd of tourists. Parking runs you $6 dollars a day paid with any major credit card. There is lots of parking available, something that Clearwater Beach lacks. The beach sand, water and... More

Nice escape from the busyness of Clearwater Beach. Just a short drive over the bridge. Great location. A great place to swim and relax in the sun. Also a very nice nature trail to walk and take in the flora of the area.

Sand Key is the Bay's very own Barrier Island. it was featured in Magic Mike, and is actually a lot nicer than they present it. You have to have boat access to get here, but it's a nice place to hang out for a summer afternoon.

This lovely state park closes at dusk and doesn't allow alcohol - for those of us who want to bring families or just enjoy a nice day shelling or relaxing, this is the place to be. Beaches are made up of a combination of soft sand and shells. The coral reef at the south end of the park sends lots... More

Best beach, best location, near everything...and it's public, with lots of parking. That's rare in Clearwater.

It would be nice to have an hourly parking fee; we came here in the evening and parking lot was empty. A few cars came and drove away as we did. $5 for the whole day is good, but not for an hour.
