This is one of my favorite park / beaches in Clearwater area. The p[ark is beautiful. The beach is even better. It is less crowded than the downtown beach area, no fee to park and enjoy. Take a picnic lunch and spend the afternoon. You wont be disappointed.

Fun beach with nice sands. The kicker? $5 all day parking. We had a great time swimming in the clear waters and frolicking in the sun without the hassle of downtown Clearwater.

Great walking in the natural area of the park. Nicer beaches than Clearwater or Siesta Key, which is an hour and a half south of Tampa.

My family stayed right on this beach and we were so glad we did! It is much quieter than Clearwater Beach and there are LOTS of shells to find here. We had plenty of space to dig, build sand castles and enjoy the ocean here.

Great park. Plenty of parking. $5 for the whole day. The beach has chairs and cabana rentals. Volleyball courts. Took a nice long walk on a warm spring morning. Sand is not as soft as some of the beaches along the gulf coast. Sand is mixed with broken up shells. Softer as you get closer to the water.

We ran from Pier 60 to Sand Key Park, loved the quiet trails and surf along the jetty with only a few fishermen in sight.

Great beach for families or couples/singles looking to get away from the crowds. Everything is available for rent and you can purchase food at a discount with your rental receipt.

Good place to go if you want to get away from some of the crowds. Secluded park away from the spring break craziness.
