This was our third hotel in the USA and ended our fabulous holiday in which we visited Disney and Universal. Whilst the hotel is in an excellent location we found it tended to,be used more by the business / conference visitors rather than families. The swimming pool was very disappointing and is too small for the size of the hotel.... More

A very nice, wide beach that is much more laid back than other beaches in clearwater. Lots of shells to look amongst, but no shade so bring your umbrella.

Started to rain just as we got there but passed and we were able to enjoy the afternoon. Lots of people but still enjoyed ourselves.

Sand Key Park has a $5 parking fee to stay at the beach for a day, other beaches or parking spots range from $15-$20 (for 1 day as well). The water here is warm because of the bright sun, I recommend bringing a lot of cold waters and sodas to drink, and plenty of sunscreen! it's also pretty busy over... More

I visit here every year. I suppose i have a urge to visit as i was married on this beach in 2001. There is plenty of parking (not free). Toilet & shower facility's available. The beach itself is like any other beach locally but a lot quieter. So if you want to get away from the madness of clearwater beach... More

My teenagers loved this beach. It's a little more natural than Clearwater with a greater variety of birds and shells. A $5 fee is charged per car and is a bargain compared to parking in Clearwater. We weren't lucky enough to see dolphins but the blue herons made up for that.

So far so good. Beach not crowded water great, so many dolphins up close and personal. Beach service was great, very polite, food cart came buy enough times and prices weren't as bad as I thought. We've live in Texas so anything beats Galveston and south padre. If you don't want crowds this is the place to come.

After spending a couple days at Clearwater Beach and Pier 60, we decided to check out Sand Key Park and were very delighted to see a tremendous difference in crowd size. Sand Key Park is only about a 5 minute drive from Clearwater Beach and offers a much less crowded and more relaxing beach experience. You get all the same... More

I go there often to sit under the trees and watch the boats go in and out in the channel. It is relaxing. As I can not sit in the sun to long it is the perfect place to go, shade, water and envy looking at the boats.

I was so happy that I was staying by this park so that we could do some walking! But there were too many mosquitos :( Very disappointed!
