Shells, shells, and more good shells. Clear water, not many people. Recommend water shoes. A must see in the area, especially for kids.

This county park/beach is just down the road from the crowded Clearwater /Pier 60 beach but you would think it was world's away. A Saturday afternoon and there were just handfuls of people of this stretch of beach. Easy parking and only $5.00 for the entire day with in and out privileges. Bathrooms were pretty clean for a public beach.... More

A lovely clean beach. Not many people but we went slightly out of season. Waters were 86 degrees. Worried about stingrays as there were signs warning people about them lurking in the sands, though didn't see any. Abundant birdlife- pelicans, egrets, waders etc. Birds being fed around the waters edge. Was a bit like being part of a wildlife programme.... More

My husband and I went there on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't very crowded. There was a $5.00 parking fee, which wasn't so bad cause we were there for a good portion of the day. In my opinion, the sand wasn't the best (this could be because I was at Clearwater the day before and the... More

I'm not a big fan of the beach, but I enjoyed this beach because of all the birds! There were several different types so it made for a wonderful picture taking session! The sand was also nice to walk on. It also wasn't too crowded when we went.

This was a nice long beach lined with condos/residential buildings after driving across a long causeway. Not too crowded on a Monday morning, decent waves for bodysurfing, and only a $5 parking fee that is good for all Pinellas County parks all day. There were lots of interesting birds here too, if that's your thing - pelicans, storks and plovers... More

it was a pretty nice park, it did have a have a little shop and a little restaurant next to it, and we had the hot dog lunch, which I would not recommend it. Their was also a place that you could go and book trips or tours with. That lady was very nice even though we did not sign... More

It was nice and quiet. Not too crowded. The sand is very fine and just felt great to walk on. There were numerous seashells to pick out. It was an overall great experience. My wife and I really enjoyed watching the sunset from there.
