We always stop in this park when we are in the area. Surprised to see that you now need to pay $5 to park for the day. The weather was awful (as it was all week) and we didnt want to spend $5 to just walk the beach for a bit. We were concerned about getting towed. There should be... More

Great beach for morning walks with the family to hunt for shells. Also, a more quiet and relaxed beach than other beaches near by, like Clearwater Beach. Nice to have some trees nearby too.

Nice park with plenty of parking. Great way to see the water as there are a lot of homes and condos that face the water and most parking on Gulf Blvd. to the beach is by permit only. Great alternative to the crowds of Clearwater Beach down the street.

A stones throw from Clearwater Beach...it was less crowded on Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed the beach. The walk onto the beach was a little far, but there was plenty of parking to be had. All in all it was a great trip.

This is a park where you can enjoy the beach, a dog park, or a nice walk through nature. It is just on the other side of Clearwater Beach and I have gone here quite a few times. It has a nice claming nature to it, and has a small variety of nature things to do.

It is not a puppy beach, but the park has a nice big enclosure for big dogs and a separate one for small puppys. Great place to walk, nice beach, sit on the rocks on the inlet, fish, picnic. Just a nice place! If you're lucky you'll see a dolphin, watch the pirate ship sailing!

If you are staying in the Sand Key Sheraton it is worth walking around the park to see some of the views and some of the wildlife, mainly birds.

If you visit Clearwater, stop here on the other side of the bridge. Less crowded, gulf views and clean. Walking trail was as good as walking on the beach. Have fun.

We were told my someone to skip Clearwater Beach & travel over the bridge to Sand Key Park & I'm so glad we did. The crowds that were at Clearwater Beach weren't here. It's so much more peaceful & relaxing. There were still some teen guys there and that made our teen girls happy, so it was a win-win situation.... More
