Owner description: Join us aboard the Sea Life Safari for a 90-minute tip into our beautiful intracoastal waters. Look for dolphins, sea birds and other marine life as our staff narrates the scenic ride to a shell island. You'll be a part of the action as a certified Marine Biologist from the Clearwater Marine aquarium performs our net pull and passes around sea life before releasing them back to their natural habitat. A hands-on experience unlike any other cruise! Children and adults of all ages love this experience.

This was really nothing but a boat ride. We boarded at the marina and it was about an hour long trip. The sea life was just a few fish and the sand bar that they called a shell island was pointless. Maybe it would have been better later in the day, but I would save your money, look for shells... More

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we can't control the sea life as they are wild, which we do not at all try to hinder. Your feedback about the island has been passed along, but we hope that you will try the trip again in hopes that you will have better luck with the wildlife. More

I would highly recommend this trip for anyone with children. This 90 minute tour teaches children about the marine life in the Clearwater harbor area and is a fun sightseeing cruise. We have the marine biologist Brittany aboard who showed and told us all about the fish and sea creatures that inhabit the IntraCoastal waterway. First, we headed out to... More

We say lots of wildlife, they even stop on a little island for to get some shells, my kids loved watching for dolphins and other wild life. The boat ride was very nice and smooth, no problems with waves.

It was great and well worth the trip a little over 90 minutes and picked up additional passengers from marina and drug nets near coast guard station and shell island was good too. Saw Dolphins and birds and plenty of live animals and fishes and other sea creatures for close up views. Great for kids of all ages. Buy the... More

First, if you do this trip, buy tickets on-line in advance, you save about 25%, I think. Second, my biggest complaint about the ride is that they have big no smoking signs, but these two idiot young parents decided to puff on "E-cigarettes" the entire trip, with the wind from the boat ride blowing their pollution directly into the mouths... We enjoyed the Marine Biologist's knowledge of all the fish that were pulled and since we were the last ride of the day, there were already several fish that were on board which was fairly cool. The trip to Sea Shell Island was a joke as it takes about 60 seconds to walk all the way around the "island" and... More

We did this boat ride from the Clearwater Marine Aquarium hoping to see dolphin's and get some great seashells. Well, neither happened. The dolphins were not promised so we knew there wasn't much chance of seeing one but we were told that the shell island was great. It definitely was not. Just a lot of pieces of broken shell on... We actually did find the information given by the marine biologist and her helpers interesting...they threw out a net and drug it a bit to see what was swimming around, then separated out the species and put them in little plastic aquariums and brought them around for everyone to see. It's not a dolphin cruise, but if you want that,... More

My kids are teenagers so this was kind of a been there done that thing for them. For smaller kids it would be great. They put out a net and pull in fish and have a show and tell. We caught a squid so that was fun to see. Of course you get to see dolphins and they take you... More

We went on the 10:30am Safari Cruise so it was a little cold, but they provided blankets for us. They had bottles of water and soda for $2 and snacks for a $1. On our cruise we got to see a dolphin, sea urchins, crabs, puffer fish, and a few others. Before showing us the sea animals they took us... More
