90 minutes from Orlando and our feet were in beautiful soft white sand! We rented 2 umbrellas and 4 chairs for our family. Very clean and beautiful. We parked in a lot for $20 for the full day after originally finding a metered spot on the road. No one would give us quarters for the parking meter. Very odd. We... More

This beach has so much to offer! Let's start with the white sugar sand and expansive view if the Gulf of Mexico! It can't be beat! There is a beautiful playground for the little ones, and street entertainers for bigger kids (jugglers, etc.). You can walk to Frenchy's and have a great lunch or just hang out on the beach... More

When the brochures say that Clearwater Beach is one of the best beaches in the world, believe them! Swimming, surfing, tanning or just hanging out, this is one beach that our family gladly will come back to again when we travel to west Florida.

Clearwater Beach has soft white sand and clear waters from the Gulf of Mexico. Plenty of available sun beds for hire but parking can be a problem. Nearby restaurants are varied and plentiful and there is all the usual beach activities available.

Clearwater Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. White, soft sand, clean water, ideal for little kids because there are not big waves; after all, this is the Gulf of Mexico and not the ocean. It has a beautiful boulevard, wonderful for a nice evening stroll with a variety of shops and many restaurants to choose from.... More

The beach is white sand and very large. Lots of room for everyone. Parking is a huge issue. We drove around for a long time. We only had 2 hours for parking and tried to find another spot and couldn't, so left earlier than planned.

Nice and beautiful beach, but we wanted waves. I read all the reviews on this beach, and felt I HAD to visit at least once. I will say that the beach amazing to look at, but the water was freezing, and the sand was cold. We had four kids with us, and it appeared that they were bored. BORED?! I... More

So much to do and see, or just relax on the beautiful beach. Can walk throughout the town to wonderful restaurants and activities. Free movies on the lawn summer evening, shopping and street performers on the pier by night, tons of restaurants and boating activities. Winter the dolphin minutes away. Love this beach!

I moved to Clearwater Beach in 1986 and lived there until March of 2013. It is a nice destination to visit. My favorite months were always May and October because those are off season and the weather is still nice. Things can get hectic during the winter when the beach is loaded with snowbirds. Then, Spring Break erupts from mid-March... More
