not sure if we have been to that area for the convention and visitor bureau. we have been for a few other things. we go over for ceramics at Seagull and general mold... only once in a while we head over that way. but i guess i hit the wrong button again. sorry More

We really enjoyed walking around, they have a really nice downtown area where you can walk around and people-watch. More

The pier area has a lot to offer. We ate at Tryst - a family owned upscale restaurant with excellent service and cuisine. You can walk to museums, hotels, restaurants, shops all within a few blocks. Cool bohemian / resort feel ;) More

As a prior resident of Clearwater I had the opportunity to tour the entire area. I've fished from the piers and gone on a few deepsea fishing excursions; all of which I highly reccomend. The area CVB has divisions for leisure travel, meetings and conventions, and p.r. In addition, they house a Film Commission and a Sports Commission, so basically anything you want on location information can be found here.
