This was the icing on the cake for our 10 yr old daughter. She was crying as we pulled up because she had been wanting to visit since she saw Winter's story. I can't say I wasn't just as excited. I was glad to be back on the Gulf coast and able to show her the real Florida too. It... More

The ticket agent demanded personal information (name - address - phone - email) just to purchase a ticket! Said it was for our "protection". She couldn't explain how giving out personal info for no reason could possibly "protect" us. She was very put-out that I was not cooperating. Meanwhile the lines were getting longer as everyone was being interrogated with... More

This is our second time to the aquarium, it was a treat once again. Not much has changed since the first time. If you want to take the water taxi to the downtown site, you need a ticket (included in entrance price), but you should get the ticket ahead of time as they fill up fast - we were not... More

A must see if you are in the area. My kids really enjoyed meeting the characters from the movie and the gift shop had a great selection of items and super service. We will be back again if we get the chance.

Went to the aquarium for the day. Saw the movie dolphin tale 1 and we were able to see Winter the dolphin who was injured. Amazing experience to see other dolphins that they had rescued. Was able to observe surgery done on a turtle. Very interesting time spent there. Would definitely recommend for families and adults to go and see.

We visited during spring break season, and it was very busy! Do your homework before you go for a few reasons: 1. This is NOT the same kind of aquarium you may have seen in Chattanooga, Gatlinburg, or Atlanta. Their primary focus is animal rescue and rehabilitation. Accommodating tourists helps to fund their primary focus. If you don't understand that... More

While I love the work they are doing for injured and/or sick animals, I can't recommend visiting :(. I'm not saying you shouldn't visit, but lower your expectations a whole lot. I read the reviews, and we went despite the negative reviews, which were spot on. The museum is a summary of the movie. It's not worth visiting that portion.... More

If you are looking for a typical aquarium with alot of fish tanks with sharks and fish swimming in them then this is NOT the place. However when you come here you see dedicated people caring for injured and sick sea creatures which is interesting and a very rewarding experience. We actually saw a turtle in surgery. You also get... More

Wow what an amazing experience visiting theClearwaterAquarium and seeing Winter and Hope up close. The marine hospital was also so neat as they were operating on a sea turtle and we could view this. live. Great memories. A must for all to visit.
