Didn't think this aquarium was as good as it is said to be. I've been to several different aquariums and this is the worst I've been to. There isn't really much to do other than look at a few tanks of dolphins and fish. Nothing really exciting and was bored with it after 30-45 minutes. If you are looking for... More

This aquarium only has a couple of dolphins, two sharks, a few turtles and a pelican and two petting tanks. Don't go if you are expecting a big aquarium with lots to see. This place is all about the film A dolphins tale. If you don't know and love the film don't go. The boat trip was pleasant but again... More

After seeing the movies Dolphin's Tale I and II a visit to see the stars was in order. We knew it was smaller in size and had been told it was crowded. We visited on a Sunday and the immediate parking was already full, so we parked in overflow parking about a block and a half away. It was extremely... More

Don't be fooled by the title, 10 fish doesn't not an aquarium make! This very old, cramped, smelly and overcrowded building was heaving with people and getting around was really difficult in the narrow corridors and staircases. At one stage we had to climb up onto the benches around the "touch tank" to get past people who were crowded around... More

We took the package that included seeing Winter and Hope and the displays at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and the building across the street which houses info from the movies and other informative displays. The hurricane simulation was well done. Since it was raining the day we were there, we took the Jolly Trolley instead of the ferry over to... More

The trainer talk with Nicholas the Dolphin on the stranding deck was our favorite experience of the day. Here are some things I wish I knew before we went : Summer is extremely busy. While on Clearwater Beach, we wanted to visit the Clearwater Aquarium to see Winter and Hope. This aquarium is a great learning experience but don't expect fancy shows like the theme park/aquariums offer. We really enjoyed learning about their program and all they do in their work with rescued sea life. If you are interested in seeing the dolphins from... More

It was very cool to go see all the animals! Loved seeing Winter and all the animals from the movie! Love that they are doing good for our marine life! And Clearwater is soooo pretty!

The only reason we chose to visit Clearwater Beach was to visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Our grandaughter is 7 and we have watched both Dolphin Tale movies many times and we wanted to see Hope and Winter. The Aquarium is not huge, like Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, but the Clearwater facilty's primary purpose is to rescue, rehab and release... More

One of my daughters loves dolphins and adore Winter & Hope from the dolphin's tale movie. One of the major reasons why we're coming to visit..Note this is not your typical aquarium or entertaining theme park such as sea world. The CMA crews rescue all of these marine animals, treat them and release them back into the wild when they're... More
