My family and I enjoyed our day at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. The exhibits and presentations were interactive and fun. The free boat shuttle to the movie set tour was a bonus. We even saw wild dolphins on our way. Would love to see more facilities following the Clearwater Marine Aquarium principals and priority of "rescue, rehabilitate, release". Kudos!

Two weeks ago my husband and I rented Dolphin Tale 2. This past Tuesday we were able to actually visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and see Winter and Hope in their daily training. It was very exciting to tour the facilities and also get to see the loving connection of Ricky and Lucy, the Great African White Pelicans who played... More

My husband and I went here to see Winter. The aquarium is very quaint and a little old, but they keep it in great condition and the staff are what make the place special....well so do the animals. We learned so much about injured and endangered animals, it is kind if heartbreaking ...yet heartwarming all at the same time. Please... More

What a wonderful and neat experience to see the care of these amazing people who care for these wounded/sick sea animals. I was fascinated by everything there. It is not like a Seaworld, but more like a hospital, so don't expect an experience like that. It is very educational. We took the water ferry over to the Dolphin Tale movie... More

We bought tickets on Groupon . . . about $65 for a family annual pass. To be clear: this is not much of an aquarium if you are looking for tanks of live colorful fish. While there are some cool Sea Animals, there was not a lot of variety. I would summarize this whole enterprise as one giant advertisement for... More

I loved that the aquarium was a refuge for injured and disabled marine life. It was cool to see Winter and Hope and the movie props. However, it is very small (they are currently expanding) and did not hold the attention of the children with us (2, 4, 4, and 13). It took us less than 90 minutes to see... More

My son participated in the Trainer for a Day program and it was well worth the money if you have a special event! Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. They take them in to learn about almost all the animals at CMA and they are able to get much more up close and interact. They were lucky enough to... More

Amazing experience and we plan to go back. Very educational and too see Hope & Winter up close was very moving. Well layed out facility and once construction/upgrades are complete it will be an amazing facility to spend the whole day at. Thank you Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

You will fall in love with the dolphins! The place is not big but the boa ride over to the movie set and walking around there was really nice.

Compared to other aquariums I have visited, this seemed quite run-down, poorly signposted and over-priced. Their unique claim to fame is the "Dolphin Tail" movies, which does demonstrate the commitment to the aquarium's mission of animal rescue. I can not but think had it not been for the movie and the tourism surge which resulted, the aquarium would not have... More
