Signs along road makes it look like a friendly, inviting stop. Wrong! Never greeted when walked in. We said "hello" with a gruff "hello" back from lady. Asked if sold individual oranges and was flatly told "no" we could buy a bag. Better customer service....maybe I would have bought one even though I didn't want that many. Instead...my husband and... I placed online orders for two fruit baskets ten days before Mother's Day. When they were not delivered on time, I called for tracking information. I was advised they had not been shipped on time and would not arrive until the week after Mother's Day. There was no notice; no apology; no indication of concern whatsoever. Shop elsewhere or risk... We stumbled onto this business on 301 south as we headed to Sanibel several years ago. It has since become a must stop to pick up Page oranges. They are available from some time in late November to end of January, which is when we travel. I have never had better oranges than Page. They are sweet, flavorful, juicy. Loved... More

This is an attractive roadside citrus stand in a nice air-conditioned building. The products are displayed attractively and the prices are clearly marked. A special offer was well publicized. They had current, fresh citrus as well as citrus products. The prices were slightly higher than some local stands, but I liked the whole atmosphere. Bought a 1/2 bushel of Valencias... More

The last couple of years have been a nightmare. Last year the first shipment froze because they didn't properly mark the box as requested. The second shipment was the wrong type of orange - navels. It took a third shipment to get the correct type of oranges and they neglected to mark the box "Hold for customer pickup at Post... More

Hands down this place had the best fruit in the state and with that said. I had set up a monthly plan to send oranges to family members and the oranges were terrible. I am sure they farm their monthly fruit deliveries out as I have never had a bad orange here. They have very clean restrooms and the hot... More

We stopped at this place after taking a little detour on our way to Bradenton. Free samples of orange juice, orange slices and sampling of some of their jams led us to buy a bag of oranges and some of the sweetest, pure tasting marmalade if have ever had. They also have amazing vidalia onion-orange hot sauce. A great place... More

Because of my positive impression of the Orange Shop when I stopped there in person, I decided to order some Honeybells from them on line. The order was made mid December with delivery requested mid January. To make a long story short: I paid a premium price for the Honeybells, have endured weeks of frustrating calls and emails trying to... More

Best Stop for Oranges and Orange products. We do not often drive to FL from MA, but when we try to stop at the Orange Shop. Samples are always available for the citrus and OJ. Their selection of citrus is always in season and fresh. No holdovers from previous months. The dressings and jellies are also wonderful. Worth the trip.... More

We stopped by here on the way back from Tampa this past week to pick up some Honeybell oranges. They had samples of fresh orange juice and oranges out on the counter. The best experience was when we were leaving a car pulled up next to ours and the lady asked, "do you want to pick some oranges." Thinking i... More
