Lots of people, could not eat at a restaurant; lines were too long. Only a handful of stores were not Disney related.

This was a nice place to go and get away for the afternoon without the crowds of being at a theme park! Lots of things for the kids to do and see, place with, and many picture opportunities. There was alot of construction as stated in many reviews, but it didn't really bother us. It was cool to see all... More

This is a good place to spend an afternoon to escape the huge crowds in the parks. It is also nice to get souvenirs here instead of the parks so you don't have to carry them around all day. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. There is also a movie theater, bowling alley, and Cirque du Soleil.

Although i love it here, much of it is less exciting to me after visiting so much. Although home to one of my favourite things - cirque du soleil many elements are not as impressive. As soon as you arrive you will see planet Hollywood - in my opinion it is somewhere to avoid. The food seems very overpriced for... More

My wife and I have been to Orlando 3 times in the past for years. We stay just a short walk from Downtown Disney and we go every time. If your shopping for Disney stuff, that's the place to go. They have everything. The marketplace has Disney Stores like you've never seen before. Then there's Pleasure Island. Restaurants, shops, bowling,... More

It's very difficult to park currently and it's very crowded with all the construction. However, if you go when it's not too busy it is good free fun if you just want to look. It is hard to just look. If you have kids they will enjoy the Lego Store and even strolling through the Disney stores. You can get... More

There is construction going on everywhere. We were forced to park down by Cirque Du Soleil and the walk to the Lego store took about 45 minutes it was packed. There was no one helpful to direct you or ask questions. We have been there before the construction is very VERY impactful and there is no one to help. The... More

Our family had 1 day free from our vacation plans and decided to walk over to downtown disney and is was beautiful. It was 2 minutes away from our hotel and statues all over to take pictures and the kids loved it. There's shopping, restaurants and beautiful scenic views. Stores for everyone! And carousels and even souvenirs for dogs. Beautiful... More

We visited Downtown Disney July 2014 and sadly found the visit marred by the building work currently going on. Traffic was awful, we ended up using valet parking (at $20 wasn't a bad price). All the building/extension work meant the place was more crowded than usual. We do like Downtown but decided not to go back on the visit because... More

Used to be bustling & vibrant now just chaos. Too many construction projects at same time.used to be able to stroll & preamble through various restaurants & shops now just herded between boarded up walkways. Been told project to be completed by fall 2016. Long time to put up with the traffic/parking nightmare & billboard scenery. A ride on the... More
