We went there to explore the island and the area. We weren't dissapointed. The people at the Chamber were very friendly and helpful, leaving no questions unanswered. The local hotels and restraunts were all pretty good, but a little pricy. We had a lot of fun. It was like turning the clock back 50 years. What a blast.

You can rent golf carts to get around the island on which are solar powered so your not wasting gas. Several good restaurants on bay front that serve a variety of foods... More

We stopped off for information and learned a lot more. By far, it was the best maintained and cleanest place we visited.

We found the people at the Chamber very pleasant and extremely helpful. In fact we met Tony of the famous Tony's Clam Chowder there. Good information.

Our second visit to Cedar Key. Great fishing, good food, nice place to visit for a couple days every few years. We tried to visit the chamber but were told the first day at 11:45 they were closing for lunch as they slammed the door in our face. We went back the second day and arrived at 3:50. We stepped... We have discovered there is not a good set time that there is a lull. On that day, the staff was already on her... More
