stopped for a map. Administrator very informative, friendly and helpful with our needs. They have quite a selection of brochures, maps, books and local art. It is a small office but packed with information about Cedar Key and the surrounding area.

The chambers welcome center is the first place to stop and get some local history and informational material about what there is to do while visiting in Cedar Key. They have some great items for sale which I purchased some of. It does help to support the Chamber so that is my justfication for spending. You can get an island... More

Cedar Key is a small town off the beaten path of us hwy 19 just a short jot from Chiefland. This is one of the most beautiful towns, the scenic views are heaven. The Chamber of Commerce is an excellent source of information about what to do and where to eat and shop while visiting Cedar Key. The Chamber is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday due to financial constraints. You can help keep the Chamber of Commerce Alive by stopping in and making a purchase of some postcards, books, posters. A must visit... More

Wanted to ask a question about the Lions Club and found out that and much more. We had a chance to look around and ask many questions. The people working gave us answers and a smile. Plus they gave us many handouts about Cedar Key.

Cedar Key's trademark is its dog friendliness so the Chamber needs to accept them, too. It's less of an inconvenience there than in restaurants which take them. If you don't like dogs, you shouldn't live or work in Cedar Key. And also, the #1 reason I go to these places is to pick up some restaurant menus - I love... More

Overall helpful and friendly staff. Would have liked more info on restaurants to take along instead of having to look at a binder of outdated menus. Also lacking in a good detailed map of downtown that shows you where everything is, and of the surrounding area such as the airstrip, graveyard, etc.. And don't look for any coupons.
