The beach was nice sand, not quite like nearby Sanibel but a whole lot closer there is a nice bar to get drinks and food and watch the water. Overal a really good time.

We have been visiting Cape Coral for many years...without every particularly noticing the Yacht Club at the Cape Coral Beach. But last christmas, we changed that and visited the Yacht Club for some christmas festivities (Santa Claus arrived at the beach by boat and there was a little christmas fair at the yacht club with christmas activities for kids). We... More

If you are staying in Cape Coral and want a beach, the yacht club has a nice one that beats fighting the traffic and parking in Fort Myers Beach. That being said, parking is free but sometimes hard to find a spot. If the yacht club building is open you can use their bathrooms, otherwise we didn't see any except... More

The saving grace here is the new restaurant called the Boathouse that replaced a shabby mess of a place on stilts. The tennis courts are dirty--always littered with bird excrement. That which is called a pro shop is really two toilets and a lost and found. Most of the time it's locked. There is an outdoor racquetball court, a sad... More

We spent the best evening having dinner and watching the gorgeous sunset. This evening we'll go back prior to going home tomorrow. The Board Walk Tiki Bar is nice... More

This was the first trip for my wife and I at the Cape Coral Yacht Club. Its a little off the beaten path but often these are the best. Service, Food and Drinks were all great. We spent over three hours with some Rum Runners and really good food, it was dark when we arrived and the temperature was just... More
