I read the mixed reviews and angry people that said they didn't catch anything and tried to give Obsession Charters the benefit of the doubt knowing that not everyone catches fish on every trip. For your own sake, trust the reviews and save your money! The crew is more interested in fishing themselves then helping anyone else. At our first... More

As for the swells and ocean conditions I know for fact the boat doesn't leave the dock when reports are calling waves larger than 5ft so all of u saying 10'-15' learn some things about the ocean. As for fish being to small and out of season complain to the Fwc they control that not the charter companies. As for... More

Spent a great half day fishing with these guys. Booking staff very helpful in answering questions before trip. Deck hands very informative and helpful on the day. Whilst not the peak season for fishing, the captain sought out fish, moving the boat a couple of times during the day, and all four of us caught fish so we were all... More

I started out the day excited to go on a deep sea charter.. We finally left the port at 8:00 and proceeded out to the fishing holes. Once we arrived everyone dropped there lines in the water hoping to catch the big one.. But In fact nobody caught anything all day!! Just a bunch if baitfish like red eyes and... More

I enjoyed it for the most part, the Crew was great and helpful, the food was pretty good, I hand no issues with the lady at check in.. all in all it was a good trip. Now the reason not to go on Monday or Thursday... There are a lot of people (guests) that want to add their 2 cent's... More

I bought this trip for five men. It is featured as a Groupon. So I call to make reservations and could not get a date scheduled. The receptionist is very rude and for every date there was always an excuse. So After going back and forth on a date we finally agreed on one. I live three hours away and... More

We went on a half day fishing trip. You check it between 10-10:45am, boat leaves the dock at 11am. It takes 1 hr 40 minutes to get to the deep sea fishing location. Rock & Johnny help you set your line and are very helpful in all aspects of fishing. Most of the fish caught were too small to keep.... More

purchased the trip through Travelzoo... got a half day with lunch and beverages for $25/pp. had emailed them through their website with questions (specifically what type of fish we could expect to catch)... got a response that said - if you have any questions you need to call. I called, didn't get much help from the ladies on the phones... More

THIS WHOLE OPERATION NEEDS TO BE REVAMPED!!!..Rude management, packing too many people on the boat, unethical hustler- rude mates and very poor and very few fishing spots.Pay peanuts you get monkies...this used to be a great trip with a professional crew not any more.I would not take a kid or woman on this boat.Owner of Grills should be ashamed.

We went out on a rough day. My line was hit before I could even reach bottom. The crew was nice and the food, for a fishing boat, was good. As people saying the crew was fishing themselves, I never saw 1 crew person with a rod except in the port. For all saying the crew wouldn't go back, just... More
